I was thinking along the same lines. A very beautiful castle that I wish was my own. Picture perfect from every angle ... even though I've never seen it in person. There are a few interior decorations I would change first though.Von Schlesian said:I must admit, my taste is far for ostentacious, so I'd be thinking more along the lines of Neuschwanstein in Bavaria, built in the 19th century by His Majesty King Louis II of Bavaria. It's just so majestic, and with all of it's hidden passages, performance chambers, grottos and not to mention the bed!! It has the spire of every Bavarian Cathedral carved on the top of it!
Oh yes. I would want a palace like that as well.semisquare said:chateau de versailles would be my dream palace. its so amazingly beautifull words cant describe how wonderfull it looks. i hear that once a year their is a ball, were people have a feast. the same kind of feast that king louis xiv would give. there is also people that dance the minute. sweeet
Warren, that Palace is so adorable. I love the roof. Yes, unfortunately I note the roof above everything else.Warren said:One of my faves. A former palace of the Kings of Saxony. Very elegant.

Thanks a beautiful post card. Thanks for posting it. I too would not be able to write on it. I would keep them with my stash of other postcards. You're very lucky to have been there.Von Schlesian said:Danielle;
