They're both nice looks for Silvia. The gala dress is lovely both in color and simplicity — it's a nice change from some of her "fussier" styles.

In the evening queen Silvia and king Carl Gustaf attend the delivery of the Birgit Nilsson Prize at Stockholm Concert Hall. She has too many necklaces with this recycled Yuki gown.

The problem isn't the necklaces, at least, not for me. The problem is the dress. It's a sack with a neck hole and two sleeves. It's shapeless. It's like she took a bedsheet and flung it over her head.

Awful, awful, awful.

Not a fan of that gown. I think the first time she wore it it looked the best but probably it was helped by the sash.

She used to have several of this Yuki gowns.
