The colors together are fine but maybe the fabric is too shiney for such a bright color. Her jewelry is beautiful (as always).

You expressed exactly my thoughts about the fabric of this particular jacket :) Its color is too bright,so I would prefer it to be matte.
 
Elegant cocktail outfit tonight for Queen Silvia, at a low-key dinner given for the Brazilian President at Stockholm Palace - I especially like the flow of the skirt:

No, it's not a 'lacey top'.
Queen Silvia has worn the jacket a couple of times before, and its fabric seems to have a subtle silver thread - with so many pieces currently around which are far too shiny, it’s good to see such understated glitter for a change.

Very nice indeed, I think that the material just doesnt photograph well. However I suspect it is rich and luxurious in person. I prefer the jewelry in the second posting with the outfit.

Actually a real possibility, since the fabrics and the bodice are indeed in Leger’s signature style. SDT had a nice, clear pic too:

I SO hate it when ladies wear clothing that reveals the lines from their swimsuits. It's not so bad here, but I was having fits this summer with The Today Show's Hoda Kotb. They really need to use a little foundation, it's very distracting to see these lines.

I think Queen Silvia looks wonderful in each outfit she chooses, and this time isn't an exception, everything is in harmony: from the jacket to the marvellous jewellery.:previous:

I love silver colour and I love Queen Silvia!!
 
The jacket is lovely, the cut, the fit and the finishing. It is also in a really nice and bright.
The skirt fits nicely but which really brings the outfit out and makes it quite formal is the jacket.
 
Dazzling, I couldnt agree more. I too love the Fuschia jacket, especially the lines in the front, and how it buttons. Queen Slivia is so beautiful, and her fashion rarely misses the mark. Although, I'm a little tired of the twisted pearl beaded necklace! (She has so much beautiful jewely, I'd love to see more vairety!)

The jacket is a favorite one, and most lovely indeed with its scalopped button line and precise tailoring. Teaming raspberry with black is smart, and the skirt's slim cut is nice as well.
Queen Silvia has lots of different pearl necklaces in various styles (apart from having a lot of personal jewelry anyway), but she always seems to prefer one for a certain period of time - and currently it's the twisted one.
 
Absolutely love the raspberry jacket and the way she combined it,with a simple LBD!
The twisted pearl necklace is beautiful,too!The Queen looked so chic!
 
I thinks this is a case where the acutal gown in person is really pretty, but unfortunately it doesnt photograph well with the net overlay bodice. I like the red color on Silvia, but the necklace is strange with the round neckline of the dress, and the "v-shape" of the emerald drop. Additionally, her hair doesnt look as good as it normally does, maybe her hairdresser was left behind in Sweden???

As I usually say,I'll be waiting for her next appearance.
 
Silvia has had this dress before, and it suited her when she was younger. Nowadays, at her age it looks tacky.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I thought that I was the only one that thought she looked, well let's just say, not her best. ;)
 
Yes, I really like the dress, just not on a woman her age. On Madeleine or Victoria it would be fine, but not on their mother.
 
This dress isn't my cup of tea at all. The colour is much too loud for Silvia.
