thanks for the photo.....it looks like a wonderful piece shame she doesnt wear more often.....i bet it will look magnificent if the brooch from the sapphire parure is worn in the hollow circle

I have been thinking
I always thought that the swedish royal family dont have many broches that not belonged to a parure
However I see that there are a few but they often use the same and maybe do not use fine jewllery for their day Events, silvia do it more often then her dougthers

The cameo necklace is a good match with that dress (which is out-of-fashion nowadays, of course). I think that this is one more example that it is well possible to match the cameos with the outfit. It should be worn more often.

No, it didn't belong to princess Lilian, although she liked it and wore it a lot. I think that it belongs to the Bernadotte collection. Queen Silvia wearing it in Australia 2005

While on a visit to Denmark in 2007, Queen Silvia wore three tiaras:

Braganza Tiara

Connaught Tiara

Nine Prong Tiara

How amazing she wore three tiaras in one state visit! The showing of the Braganza tiara out of the country was also spectacular!

Queen Silvia Jewellery 2: September 2005-

Today's photos of Queen Silvia show her to be sporting the 15th anniversary Childhood Bracelet in Green, a Brazilet, her Love Bracelet, and her double faced watch on her Left Wrist.

Her right wrist had the normal Childhood Bracelet and 2 bracelets I do not recognize. One bangle looking and 1 chain with a charm. She also wore her normal 4 rings.
