I love that watch! Yes, I see diamonds for the hour markers and it's definitely gold. Very unique and beautiful. I can't place the manufacturer but it really is exquisite!

I think diamonds definitely suit Queen Rania's hair and coloring but rubies would be gorgeous, too. I am partial to sapphires. I've seen some yellow/golden ones which might really look fantastic when paired with diamonds in a tiara setting for her.

At this point, I'm going to step out on a limb and say something which I know will be very unpopular. I don't actually think that the Emerald Ivy tiara is as ugly as everyone makes it up to be. It is shockingly different from anything else out there, but as an individual piece, I think it's actually quite nice. My advice to Rania on this one is just to ensure that it coordinates with her outfit/is complemented by her hairstyle.
 
I'm with you!:)

I love the Emerald tiara. It compliments her Majesty's long beautiful brown hair and amazing skin. There isn't a royal out there who could pull it off like Queen Rania.

Never fear you're not the only one out there who loves that tiara! It's one of my all-time favourites, I've never quite understood why it's so disliked.

Is this a new tiara? Or a Jordanian heirloom? I've never seen it before. It's a very pretty tiara but Rania's hair is all wrong, it would be better with an updo.
 
It's a lovely tiara. But I'm not sure about the way it looks with the hair loose. Guess Rania was going for the romantic look.
 
I'm not sure if I like this tiara, maybe it's the hairstyle but it just doesn't look "right", imo.
 
I thought the tiara looks rather lovely - it's a shame that we can't get a closer look but i don't like her hairstyle - it does no justice to the tiara.
 
It seems to be a big mystery. But maybe it's borrowed like her wedding tiara was (I read it in one magazine ;) )
 
The emerald tiara was very pretty and its different from all other tiaras, but what made it look way out of place was the dress (which was very pretty and the hair). I think if she had obtained for a dress which would have matched it, it wouldve standed out, but there was too much going on. Does anyone know it was borrowed or owned by her ? I'd like to see it again

The new tiara seems to be a mystery. Personally, i did not like it. Though it was abit too big for her, and has to be worn with hair up. The most suitable tiara for Rania is Queen Alia's one which is now to my understanding owned by Princess Haya. But if the new one is owned by Rania, than i think she shouldve obtained for something smaller (height). Does Rania own any tiaras?

Queen Alia's tiara is Haya's, she inherited it on her mother's death.. Rania only ever borrowed it, it was never actually hers.
The emerald tiara was borrowed to beign with but was purchased at some point. If you look through this thread there are more details of Rania's tiaras.

yes it must have been made especially for her. I have seen the Islamic crescent and star symbols on Malaysian and Bruneian royal tiaras but never one with an actual inscription. Rania's new tiara seems to be quite a unique piece. She does have several pieces of jewellery with arabic/Quranic inscriptions (earings, ring, bracelet, pendants etc)
I wish we had more info. on the tiara.

The fact that the tiara is quite distinct and personla in style would suggest she's bought it. Tiaras are worn so rarely in the JRF though, it's sometimes hard to tell!

Rania's earrings remind me of some Swarovski earrings that have been around for a while. Unfortunately there haven't been any close ups but they are very similar to the Bella Aurora Borealis earrings.

You must be right Asturiana and thank you for the information because I was always wondering about these earrings which seem to be of QRania's most favourite as she has wore them a lot of times. I searched about Shiva eye, this is a site with jewellery with shiva eye :

I believe this is a Chopard pendant. This pendant can be seen in Chopard's website in Happy Diamonds Specials collection. It is the sixth pendant of the collection.

This pair of earrings http://s2.supload.com/free/is_12932835.jpg/view/ which QR wore on October 2006 when she visited Netherlands is from the Boucheron Orientals collection. I am sure that this pair of earrings is Boucheron, one can see them in the Boucheron site BOUCHERON : haute joaillerie, montre et parfum de luxe.

I know they cost a lot. I like when Rania wears some very elegant yet costly jewels, don't forget she is a queen. Above all for me it is just an interesting kind of game to find what jewels QR wears, if they are Boucheron or Bulgari etc. Besides their sites are beautiful.
