Maxima looks regal, every inch a Queen! This is a gorgeous outfit, love the intricate lace design on the dress.:flowers:

She looks stunning. She is one of the few that carry carry off total cream. And I love the hat.

Small niggle, I think its a tad tight and/or it creases v easily.

Another hit from Maxima! She seldom disappoints. And does love the shiny stuff as well!

Her overall was elegant and well put together but I was not fond of the lace placement on the dress. Loved her hat, she wears wide brim hats very well.

stunning,
the the dress looks perfect on Maxima, love the hat i always do love that big hats of her:)

This is a great look from Maxima and the color is perfect on her.

Just a little tight and the lace doesn't seem to look very good on the dress.

Love the proportions on this dress. The length of the sleeves, the v-neck. The pearls look perfect with the neckline and I think she is wearing earrings of a pink stone. The fringey hat is perfect.

Queen Maxima was out and about I see. From the top of her head to the tips of her fingers and toes, this is quintessential Queen Maxima.

Her hat was amazing, large yet proportional.

Her hair complimented both the hat and the dress perfectly.

Her dress was beautifully fitted although, as with most linens, it creased a little, but that was incidental and the length was perfect. Neither too short nor too matronly.

Her accessories were perfect and picked up the subtly darker lace on her dress. Her gloves were soft and beautiful, her clutch very attractive and her shoes were very elegant.

Her jewellery was perfectly understated with earrings and what looks like a salt water pearl necklace.

With a neutral ensemble form tip to toe, Maxima should have looked meh, and a bit washed out. Instead the creamy beige neutral complimented her skin tone and just made her glow.

You always know when the "Queen" is around . . . she wears a fabulous hat and gorgeous gloves. Very elegant and very regal.

Stunning love the colour on her the dress is perfect I adore the hat ..

I like it that Queen Máxima has continued Queen Beatrix' standards: hats and gloves (also for the ladies in her escorte). Sometimes she still appears (too) casual, especially when it is about her 'pet topics' like the Orange Fund or in her role as special UN advisor. It looks like she then "downplays" her role as Queen and appears more as "Hi, it is just me, Máxima". The hair plays a very big role: it is very neat or it is very unkempt, it is two extremes with her. She simply has that stringy hair. I think the Dutch can be very happy with such a charismatic Queen.

Maxima's hat is recycled from her mother, who wore the same hat to Amalia's christening.

may be it is Maxima's hat and she bored to her mother? Her mother wouldn't be able to use it in Argentina!
I love the hat, dress everything! she looks great!

Maxima looks great! The colour of her outfit suits her a lot, and I like the hat this time. It's nice and interesting that she borrowed it from her mother. I know she has borrowed outfits from Beatrix in the past (I think I remember reading that she borrowed a gown from her to wear at an event earlier this year), but I think this would be the first time that she has borrowed from her mother?

Mrs María del Carmen Cerruti Carricart wore this hat during the baptism of Princess Catharina-Amalia, now 10 years ago. Yes, she wore the hat for the first time but I am not sure how Queen Máxima could 'borrow' it as her mother lives at the other side of the world, in Buenos Aires. I think all this time the hat has been stored in a hatbox in one of these storerooms piled with hats. Technically Queen Máxima probably just requested her dresser to take this hat (or it was a recommendation by the dresser) without realizing her mother once wore it?

Here the hat in question: http://www.refdag.nl/polopoly_fs/2013_03_30_acc7_acckon5_3_fc_web_1_727335!image/3205511757.jpg

When I mentioned the word "borrowed" I meant it in the case of Maxima wearing outfits from her mother or other members of the Zorreguieta family. So not literally "borrowed" as in Maxima asking her mother if she can wear it for that particular engagement.

I apologise if this wasn't your intention as I do have an irritating habit of rushing into things/overthinking, but I got the impression that you were laughing at my post or you found it amusing given the fact that you inserted the laughing smiley. It was not meant to be amusing - just a question that I didn't phrase properly.

Yes, I did read it as: "Mummy, I would like to borrow your beatiful hat, you know, the one from Amalia's baptism"...

I would like to see the storeroom where all her hats are piled up. Here the hatboxes in the atelier of Fabienne Delvigne, the Queen's favourite chapelière (milliner): http://belmodo.tv/assets/22258/DSC00841.jpg

.

For a meeting with WTO Director General Roberto Azevedo today, September 8, Máxima recycled her Tory Burch dress we've first seen in April:

Not my favorite look of Maxima. Her dress is nice but maybe it is the bad light that it does not look good here. The color of her shoes are not matched well with her dress . I think she would have looked better with her hair on her shoulders.

not fan of the shes the rest is perfect.
the dress is pretty and the hair look elegant pulled that way.

.

A pink dress for Queen Máxima who received the President of Myanmar Thein Sein at Eikenhorst today, September 9 - the strong colour suits her!

Is that static cling or just designed to look like static cling?

Queen Máxima received the president in her own private villa, not as Queen but as UN advocate for inclusive finances. When she is in her pet topics (Orange Fund or the UN activities) this is visible in loose hair and often less formal clothes.

It is one of the worst outfits of Her Majesty's Queendom. Horrible.

Yes awful cling and what is that on her legs, thick black tights!

I think it was designed to look like that it is not a good look.

I like the color of the dress but tights? I barely can tolerate those in winter. Is the dress supposed to do that?
