I don't think her not being rushed to a hospital makes the situation less concerning. Most elderly people are not rushed to a hospital on their death bed - as there is little doctors in a hospital can do and 'comfort' is much more important in a situation like that.
It would indeed make a lot of sense to appoint Charles and William as Counsellors of State.
The current Counsellors of State are The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge, The Duke of Sussex and The Duke of York.
I think its the first time doctors have ever been stated to be worired aobut the queen's health. She looked pretty well when meeting Liz Truss. but she is frail and perhaps has weakened very fast

This doesn't sound good. First time Buckingham Palace has admitted concerns for the Queen's health. And now Prince Charles, Camilla and Prince William going to Balmoral sounds grave
They are indeed eligible to function as CoS but still need to be appointed to do the work of a CoS (as happened in May for the Opening of Parliament). That is what both Mbruno and I were talking about.
If by some chance she is already unconscious they can't be appointed as CoSs as she wouldn't be able to sign the Letters Patent.
Maybe it will be a Regency.
Part of me is saying 'NO not yet' and I am being selfish as today is the 11th anniversary of my father's death so am emotional.
The other part of me is saying 'God, if you are going to take her do it quickly so she doesn't linger or suffer'.
The significance of the images of The Queen with the new PM was that there were still images only. When Boris became PM we had video.
Sky News are now reporting that Edward, Sophie and Andrew are also on their way. Anne was already there.
So all four children on their way along with William.
of course she looked frail - she is 96 and clealry is tired and weakening. But she looked cheerful and still doing her job....I personally didn't think she looked well at all. She looked 'present' but at the same time frail with multiple signs of poor blood circulation.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex are travelling to Balmoral. Princess Anne is already there, having been undertaking engagements in Scotland this week.

Perceptions differ. I am afraid her current situation confirms that she was indeed very frail and her body was much more worn out than some might have thought - while others did spot some signs that things weren't going that well (beyond her being an elderly lady).
Nonetheless, I am glad that she was able to do this as I think it was important to her even while she has been getting weaker and weaker since her husband's death and especially since the beginning of this year - and she was indeed what I called 'present'.
"From a spokesperson: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be traveling to Scotland."
I believe HM has been failing since last autumn, looking frailer and more bowed. She certainly looked so when she met the new PM. I’m sure prayers for her recovery are coming from all over the the UK, the Commonwealth and the whole world.

BBC just said that the Sussex's are on their way as well.
What about the other grandchildren?
What about the other grandchildren?
Kensington Palace have announced the Duchess of Cambridge has remained in Windsor since the kids had their first full day at their new school. Nothing has been reported on other grandchildren and grandchildren-in-law
Also, no surprises Prince Harry is on his way since he is on the Councellor of State
I agree with others that this sounds very serious. She did look extremely frail in the photos with the PM. I am happy that her children and William are with her. Given that we don’t know exactly what the situation is yet, I can only say that I hope the Queen is comfortable and able to rest peacefully with her loved ones.
