This is a good style for Camilla. It emphasizes her rather nice shape, and it’s crisp and dignified in a way her many “house dresses” are not.

I prefer this latest combination as the scalloped edging to the jacket looks too fussy with the dress in the previous outing. I think this looks more elegant.

Great dress. This is the same dress that was used for the pictures of the King & Queen of Australia, NZ & Canada.

A very lovely dress with a nice neutral shade for the accessories . The brooch looks wonderful set against the blue of the dress. Such a shame she was hampered by having to manage a brolly too.

Classic Camilla look. This ensemble ha been used previously at Ascot and the Trooping.

Very sensible of the Queen to go with styles that she knows have worked well for her in the past and which she obviously feels comfortable wearing. I also think the Queen has developed a recognisable style for ‘dressing up’ occasions which often includes large hats & beautiful chokers, so when she makes official visits, people almost expect to see these elements.

For the day in Canberra, the Queen wore a previously worn white dress by Anna Valentine, with the Courtalds Shell brooch today. The dress has some silver embellishments on the collar and has previously been worn to Ascot.

I think both, the departure dress from Sydney and the arrival dress in Samoa, were great. I think we will see HM in more formal clothes in Samoa, especially once the CHOGM events commence.
