HM Queen Beatrix and President Medvedev of Russia will open the exhibition on Russias Court Life at the Hermitage,
Amsterdam branche this june.

The exhibition is especially put together for the grand opening of the Hermitage Amsterdam,and never before has this
special collection of top pieces at one time left the Hermitage St.Petersburg.All in all there will be 1800 objects
on display,150 of those being (court-)dresses,uniforms and costumes.The dresses will be on display on specially designed moving plateaux.
To display several of the other top pieces there's a hole in the roof as the Empress Catherine the Great's State Coach will
be on display as well and through the roof is the only possible way to get that marvel in.
In one wing you will feel like a guest at an Audience with the Tsar,in another you will feel as a guest at a Court Ball,
Nicky's precious stones studded costume of the famous Ball will be on display as well.
The opening for the public will be on june 20th,and in touch with St.Petersburg,the opening will be celebrated with a
White Night Festival so the museum will be open for 24 hours during which there will be festive activities and concerts
throughout the museum,the inner court and along the Amstel river.
It will be impressive,touching,marvellous and enchanting,all in one.
To top it off,think blini's with caviar and champagne.....
