Kiko looks a though she is doing a fine job on this trip. Her kimono is especially lovely, too.
 
On September 19th, Princess Kako visited Belvedere Palace in Vienna, Austria before traveling to Hungary.

ETA: On September 20th, Princess Mako visited the 66th Japan Traditional Crafts exhibition at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi main building in Tokyo. The exhibit features 576 selected works in 7 categories such as ceramics, dyeing and weaving, lacquering, metalwork, wood and bamboo crafts, dolls, etc. As President of Japan Crafts Association, she spent some 50 minutes examining each piece before selecting a large floral bowl as the President’s Award.

Also on September 21st, Princess Kako visited the Equestrian Museum and the National Stud Farm in Babolna. In the evening, she attended a dinner in Budapest celebrating 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Hungary.

Princess Kako will visit Tottori Prefecture September 28-29 for the 6th National High School Sign Language Performance Competition. She'll also visit Tottori Sand Dunes and Inaba Manyo Historical Museum and watch a lion dance.

On September 30th, Princess Mako visited the 20th Charity Bazaar sponsored by the Ladies' Friendship Association for Africa and the Middle East at the Royal Park Hotel in Chuo, Tokyo. 26 embassies participated in the biennial event. Proceeds will be donated to women and children in each country.

On October 14th, Princess Kako attended the Girl Scouts Japan Federation's 1st Community Action Challenge 100 (CAC100) award ceremony at SYD Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo. Her speech included condolences for the victims of Typhoon No. 19.

Hopefully, it will not be the last. I think his sisters could make excellent mentors for him, and it could help to educate him about the contributions of the other members of the imperial family as a balance against the intense focus on him.
 
:previous: I agree. Also, the Akishino couple are busier now and the daughters have already taken over some of their parents' duties. I'm also hoping Mako or Kako could some events with Aiko.

It'd also be wonderful to see the 4 cousins together at something or even with their Mikasa and Takamado cousins.

On December 8th, Princess Kako and Prince Hisahito attended the 41st National Youth Speech Contest at the National Olympics Memorial Youth Center in Shibuya, Tokyo. They listened to speeches from 12 junior high school students.

A 1st year from Tokyo received the Prime Minister's Award; a 3rd year from Kumamoto Prefecture received the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award; a 2nd year from Yamanashi Prefecture received the President's Award.

The two showed up at a public event together without being accompanied by any other Imperial Family member for the first time, according to the Imperial Household Agency.
