I completely missed the pregnancy announcement  congrats to them, she looks great (as always)

From her facebook page:
'
Today I visited the Swedish Embassy here in London to meet ambassador torbjörn sohlstrom and his co-workers.
At The Embassy, I was also able to meet representatives of the Swedish organisations working for Sweden and Swedes in the UK.
Many thanks to the embassy, business Sweden, Swedish Chamber of commerce, visit Sweden, Swedish school and Swedish church for an interesting and rewarding day.'

Princess Madeleine attended the St. Lucia concert held at the Royal Stables yesterday
From her official facebook page:
'I enjoyed an early Lucia at Hovstallet, yesterday afternoon!'
https://www.facebook.com/PrincessMadeleineOfSweden

St. Lucia is the patron of light and her feast day is celebrated on the 13th of December each year in the majority of the churches, but the Royal Stables hold theirs a little earlier.

The pictures look lovely

Margareta Thorgren to Expressen about Madeleine's work event on Sunday:
- The Princess is very much looking forward to attending the Church of Sweden in Florida's 10th anniversary. Otherwise, she is not involved in any specific projects in the church.

It's nice to see that Madeleine is still keeping up with the local Swedish community in Florida. It seems like it was rather wet there!

Madeleine, the Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland, had today a digital meeting with governor Per Bill from Gävleborg County. Deputy governor Veronica Lauritzsen participated also in the meeting.
Madeleine was told what happened in Hälsingland and Gästrikland during the pandemic, she received general information and information about how the children in the county were affected during the pandemic.
Madeleine expressed a hope of being able to visit Hälsingland and Gästrikland again in the near future.

That's a nice way of being a duchess of a specific region... I am sure it was appreciated.

Madeleine hasn't attended at any of those four digital meetings the members of the royal family have had with the county governors during the covid19 pandemic:
28 May 2020 The king, queen, Victoria and Daniel
10 September 2020 The king, queen, Victoria and Daniel
10 December 2020 The king, queen, Victoria, Daniel, Carl Philip and Sofia
20 April 2021 The king, queen, Victoria, Daniel and Carl Phiip

I suppose the time difference will make it more difficult for her to attend. And one can wonder what is the additional value of having 6 members present instead of 5. It already seems like a bit of a crowd as it is.

Any news if and when Chris will join the family?

Will be great to them.

Giving she lives in Florida, I wonder if Madeline is fluent in Spanish.

Many articles give one or two languages…this is from Wiki….I never saw any info on Princess Madeleine speaking Spanish.

“She speaks English, German and Swedish fluently, and also intermediate-level French.[3] She graduated 23 January 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in art history, ethnology and modern history. During 2007, she studied child psychology at University of Stockholm.”

I hope she will arrange for her younger children to visit their duchies as well. If my memory is correct, all of the other children in the royal family, excluding Prince Julian, have made visits to theirs.

Madeleine will attend SWEA International's world meeting on 29th April at Fort Lauderdale, Florida. SWEA = Swedish Women's Educational Association.
Officiella program _ Kungahuset

We remember that Victoria was last year chosen as The Swedish Woman of the Year 2021 by SWEA International.

I have found multiple social media posts confirming Madeleine attended but no photos were shared. She shared about her work with World Childhood Foundation, living abroad, and became an honorary member of SWEA Florida.
