Princess Märtha Louise & Durek Verrett News & Current Events Part 2: 2024 -

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Thank you, Victor. I think this is the original story from Se og Hør:

Yes, he discussed it in his 2020 interview with Vanity Fair.

Dare I say "sexual predator" in the context of these articles.

Se og Hør tells that Durek takes legal action about their article about Joakim Byström and Durek.

Durek's lawyer Geir Lippestad confirms that they are now taking legal action and reporting Se og Hør.
- That's right. I am of the opinion that making such serious allegations about a person is punishable according to Section 267 of the Criminal Code.
He also confirms that the case has been reported to the Norwegian Press Complaints Commission (PFU).
Se og Hør's editor-in-chief says the following about the information:
- I can confirm that we have received word from Lippestad that he wants to take legal action and go to PFU. Right now, we do not wish to comment further on the matter.

Durak can sue all he wants. He's gonna lose hands down. He can't sue a magazine for factually reporting something and win.
The freedom of the press is taken seriously in Norway.
It's not something Se & Hør made up.

Hiring ”Gangster Lawyers” seems to be a thing in the outskirts of the Norwegian RF nowdays… First Marius and Øyvind Bratlien, and now Durek and Geir Lippestad who defended (norways biggest traitor since Vidkun Quisling) Anders Behring Breivik…

Yes I don't see how he can sue when the magazine is reporting what someone has claimed happened. The article I read in Se Her reported both the claims and the response of Derek and his team so seemed pretty balanced factually and meeting its obligations.

More problems for the NRF:
Joakim Boström turned up at a police office in Sweden today and reported Durek Verrett for abuse.
- The reason I am now reporting the case is that I hope that others who have been subjected to sexual abuse also dare to come forward, regardless of who the perpetrator is.
Se og Hør has asked Durek's lawyer Geir Lippestad for a comment on the police report: Se og Hør has received confirmation that Joakim Boström has reported Durek in Sweden. How does your client approach this?
- I have no comment on this, Lippestad replies.

Good grief. That makes two within the NRF who are at present being investigated by police for acts under the penal code! (Three if it turns out MM obstructed a police investigation.)
I so miss the good old days where speeding constituted a royal scandal.
