Princess Maxima attended the opening of the new building of the NHL Hogeschool, part of the kenniscampus, in Leeuwarden.

Princess Maxima, as special advocate of the UN, arrive at the G20 SME Finance Data Working Group meeting of fiancial services for small businesses at the Johan de Witthuis in The Hague.

for Inclusive Financial Services.
 
Princess Maxima attended the Volunteers party at the Sportpark ’t Suyt
in Waddinxveen this evening, May 28, 2010. The municipality Waddinxveen
offers the evening in appreciation for the volunteers' efforts. The festival
consists of a dinner with live music and dance.

Princess Maxima attended the opening of Start, a center for nature
and enviroment education and for the offices of the Apenheul in
Apeldoorn, June 8, 2010.

It's nice to see how Maxima imitates the bodylanguage of the boy
she's talking with, that shows a lot of empathy!

Princess Maxima visited the Air Base and the Air Operations and
Control Station (AOCS) Leeuwarden, June 10, 2010.

Maxima was received by the airbase Leeuwarden Air Force Commander,
Lieutenant General Jac Jansen. During the visit she got an explaination
about the tasks and procedures of the Royal Air Force and the base.
She also visited the F-16 Flight Simulator.

Princess Maxima attended the start of the 2nd edition "The concertbuilding
open" at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, June 12, 2010.

During these open days the public can visit the halls and lobbies of the
concertbuilding, while musical performances and other activities are playing.


Great look and a really nice opportunity for all people who are interested
in music!

Princess Maxima attended the graduation ceremony and a concert of
the Learning Orchestra in Amsterdam, June 17, 2010.

The Learning Orchestra Music Foundation is an initiative of Southeast,
where students from group 5 to 8 of the elementary school have four
years school lessons on a musical instrument.

A clip on AT5, it seems the princess started to cry a little during the song, as she needs her handkerchief to whipe some tears away in the end:

The girls that are interviewed think they know why the princess can only stay an hour: the princess wanted to see the world cup soccer match between Argentina and South Korea ;).

I don't know why, whenever I see Princess Maxima, I think of Cameron Diaz. :lol:

I like her, she's beautiful, nice smile, she seems nice. :flowers:
 
Princess Maxima named Holland America Line's new Signature-class ship,
Ms Nieuw Amsterdam IV, in a ceremony that concluded with the smashing
of a bottle of champagne across the ship's bow in Venice, Italy, July 4th.
The ship was built in Venice and will now start it's first trip.

The Dutch royals have named Holland America ships for 80 of the company's
137 years.

Do we know if Maxima was on the first trip of the boat?
Maxima actually looked really nice today, lilac suits her well.
 
I actually don't like the shoes but other than Maxima looks great.

Has anyone ever sailed on a Holland America cruise?

Do they have pictures of any of the Dutch Royals on them? I was on a Royal Caribbean ship a couple of days ago (I sell cruises) and I noticed a BIG picture of Queen Sonja and King Harald of Norway, and I was just wondering if any of the Holland ships had any of the Dutch royals on it. Just curious. Especially since they have been christening HA's ships.
 
And in general it's quite rare that royals join the first tour after
such a christening ;) - but I'm sure she enjoyed wonderful Venice!

Wonderful pics...She looks so fresh and natural! Her hat is not the sort of hat I should like to wear...but it seems that Royals MUST wear this kind of hats, you know....:D:cool:

YES!! Holland America is the only line my husband and I cruise, and they have pictures and statues about of Queen Beatrix!! I highly recommend!!!;)
 
Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Maxima are watching the Game, Netherlands vs Uruguay in Cape Town. :)
 
Does anyone know when Maxima will have her next engagement? Her last official engagement was on July 4th... is she on vacations?
 
In case I haven't overseen anything, Maxima's next official engagement
will be on September 9 at a school in Den Haag. CP Willem-Alexander
is already undertaking official engagements again, so at least the family
holidays are over.
