Today, June 24, Princess Caroline attended the funeral of Sergeant Thierry Perard, who had died at the age of 52 on June 19 during his intervention in the fire that broke out in the "21 Princess Grace" building. Perard was the first firefighter in the history of the Principality's Fire Brigade who died in the line of duty:
