Princess Benedikte and her daughter Princess Nathalie are both visiting the
state of Kentucky in the United States. The occasion is the Alltech FEI
World Equestrian Games in which Princess Nathalie is competing.

HRH Princess Benedikte has been busy with horse events from Sweden to Kentucky. Her daughter came sixth in Kentucky at the dressage event. They certainly got a big crowd of 46,000. But then Kentucky is horse country. Pleased to see she was acknowleged as a Danish princess in the press. The Princess is always busy not only representing Denmark but following her favourite sports with horses. I have enormous respect for this talented and hard working lady. And I think she deserves many kudos for her support for her sister the Queen.

In her role as patron of the SOS Children's Villages Princess Benedikte has been
on a five-day visit to Rwanda from May 3rd to May 7th, 2011.

Today, March 23, Princess Benedikte as Patron of the Pindstrup Centeret association attended
the opening of a new residential building in Middelfart built by the Pindstrup Centeret association.
It's a new meeting place for families with physically and mentally disabled children.

Princess Benedikte as Patron has attended the general meeting of the Association of Ballet Friends at the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen on October 2nd. During the event she presented the two biggest prizes of the Ballet Friends - the Honorary Award 2012 and the Applause Prize 2012 to ballet director and character dancer Sorella Englund and to character dancer Jette Buchwald:

During her visit she presented Queen Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha with the membership badge of the Olave Baden Powell Society and visited projects in connection with girl guides and scouts.
