The princess Alexia of Greece coupled yesterday in Barcelona a new collection of stories that tries to explain Down's syndrome to the children. The princess, for that her third son waits by the beginning of August, narrated a story to the small ones who were present at the presentation and chatted affectionatly with them, demonstrating her passion for the children.
The collection is a work of the publishing house Edebé and of the Catalan Foundation of Down's Syndrome, an entity to which Alexia of Greece is linked from 1992, first comop edagoga and therapist and now comom iembro of the patronage. The princess, who illuminated proud her bulky belly, indicated that she takes very well the last stage of pregnancy " in spite of the heat " and made clear that her third son will be born in Barcelona and later she will go to Lanzarote, where she resides.
" It does to me the same illusion that is child or girl ", said Alexia. The princess commented that her baby " is going to have many companions of games, because the family there is growing ", in reference to the pregnancy of dona Letizia and the baby of her cousin the infanta Cristina, the small Irene, of little more than one month, which it she defined as " a funnyface ".
