Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg and Nicolas Bagory: 22 and 29 April 2023

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
We haven't heard much about her since her second marriage so let's hope she is focussing her energies on better things indeed.

Tessy looks beautiful and happy. She is working, has a lovely son and a lovely husband, two lovely older sons that seem to be happy too. She is focussing her energies in a good life, there are not better things, and she is doing it very well. Very good for her and her family. And I'm sure that his first husband and her ex sister in law, the happy and beautiful bride, are happy for her too, they are good people.

As far as I understand the official announcement there will be no reporters/press or photos allowed at the religious wedding.
That would mean we don' t see anything. No Newlyweds and no guests. Just an official wedding photo perhaps.

I didn' t see Nicolas wearing a wedding Ring after the Civil ceremony. Is that common or do they exchange rings during the church wedding?

Not even an official wedding photo. That's right!!!
They consider their religious wedding as private

For the Religious Wedding I suppose all the Cousins will be there but I hope to see more the Groom's family.

I believe we will see wedding photos and official photos should also be released.

Is the groom,Nicolas Bagory a Roman Catholic?

I found this about him:

Nicola Bagory is a 34-year-old Frenchman who studied in the most prestigious schools in his country. He studied mathematics, physics and engineering, but he also studied political science and classical philology, graduating in Latin from the Sorbonne, one of the most renowned universities in the world. He is currently involved in the creation and management of social and cultural projects. He speaks three languages, including English and Spanish. He is a very believer boy and combines his work with that of director of publications in a Catholic publishing house, focused on ecology and evangelization. Faith was one of the things that brought the couple together the most, since the princess is a very devout young woman and they both share the same way of seeing and understanding life.

Official photos yes and perhaps a few from outside the church as guests enter and leave.

Alexandra is shy and religious, which might explain her decision to privately visit a church directly after her Civil wedding.

I had no idea that her new husband is Sorbonne educated, and the fact that he speaks his new mother in law's native language must please her!;)

That's a gorgeous photo of the two of them on the PdV cover.

They make a lovely couple and I too had no idea that Alexandra was so devout.

All of the GD children appear very religious to varying degrees. Guillaume, Louis and Alexandra in particular.

Alexandra studied at the obscure but very orthodox Catholic Franciscan University of Steubenville, in the Midwestern US.

She seems a gentle, discreet girl and obviously beautiful. I wish we saw more of her.

RTL Luxembourg published some new photos of the church in Bormes les Mimosas where the wedding will take place today.

The village is just a few kikometers from the GDC's holiday home in Cabasson.

Here is an update from" Luxemburger Wort" describing the preparations for today

It looks like the wedding will not start before 4.00 pm

https://www.wort.lu/de/lifestyle/he...a-statt-644a28a4de135b9236e6a7bc?strytlpage=6

It says in the article that choir rehearsals have started at 10.00, outside and inside the church. The choir is called 'Ephata and consists of 30 young singers aged 17 to 22.
Flowers have been brought and put up, all in white and blue, among them hydrangeas and delphinium.
Some Luxembourgers who are on vacation in the area have already gathered to greet the couple, carrying small Lux flags.

The same university as her cousin Prince Laurent of Belgium went to, to little avail.

Prince Louis and Prince Sébastien arrived, accompanied by Gabriel and Noah.
Nassau, Habsburg and Liechtenstein cousins in attendance.

The pleats of her gown kind of remind me the pink gown Victoria wore in Nobel last year.

A better look of her dress!
That is one weird bodice, isn't it. I wouldn't be surprised if it's Natan.

And she is indeed wearing the Chaumet Tiara.

Nicolas with his mom, love her cute dress.

María Teresa, what is wrong with you!?
This is not the Elie Saab I was expecting to see today.

The choker tiara sans toppers. Makes me wondering would it be a wedding gift to her? This one is kind of like a personal tiara to Alexandra.

And kind of surprised she didn't use her mother's wedding earrings. The new pearl earrings are beautiful though.

The pleated cross in front of her abdomen does look a bit odd. I quite like the veil though.

After the pink feathers, MT having another over the top outfit again, this time with a giant green bath scrub on her shoulder.

I like both Stephanie's and Claire's gown. And hello Charles!

It looks like Amalia and Liam are part of the bridal party. I assume the other boy and girl are from Nicolas' family.

Maybe Charles as well? He wore same outfit as Liam.

Yes, Charles is also part of the bridal party.

Just when I thought GDMT's outfit couldn't be worse, I've realized it's a jumpsuit, not a dress but a jumpsuit, who wears a jumpsuit to her only daughter's wedding!?

Thought that too. but also the colours are horrible

I am fine with jumpsuit in wedding but this jumpsuit definitely isn't suitable for a church wedding. I don't get MT's style in her daughter's wedding.

OTOH I like Nicolas' mother's dress, just beautiful.

Stephanie is wearing those gorgeous sapphire earrings again.

The bride looks stunning imho, no surprise. I especially love her light floating veil with what looks like Swiss print, and the fact that she chose a short train for that small church. I notice that her face was uncovered, the better to show off her gorgeous radiance. The dress isn't Elie Saab as I had hoped but I like it. It suits beautiful Alexandra.?

His Royal Cuteness Prince Charles waving at press and public from Gui's arms was to die for...that child has a VERY regal wave btw!

Were Felix's children bridal attendants? I thought I saw them bustling around the bride as she entered, but then I saw them with their parents as they entered?

Bormes les Mimosas in the South of France is an inspired venue for a springtime wedding. It's bursting with beautiful florals, the weather is mild and the Church of St. Trophyme is very ancient, historic and intimate.

I can't wait for more wedding details.;)

Yes, they entered with their parents, it was hilarious to see the kids running outside when they were told the bride had arrived. Liam was a very responsible big cousin and held Charles' hand at all times. Amalia walked with the other little girl.
