Ah man she changed into the boots again..... I just dislike them so much (the boots I mean, not Kate and PW)

See, I have a pair and they are outrageously comfortable. They're probably very smart footwear for occasions when she'll be on her feet for awhile and they look fine on her.

From Royalreporter-

Catherine or Kate? Personally, I don't like the rebrand. Miss Middleton in Belfast today: "I'm still very much Kate."

Prince William to female admirer: "You say all the right things... can I have your telephone number please?"
Woman admirer: "Yes!"

Ah the second on is cute! William's a little flirt ;) apparently the woman had said he's very attractive

Walking on grass in high heels is tough -- and ruinous for the shoes. So, perhaps the change was merely a practical consideration.

Lucky you! When did you found out they were going there? if you don't mind me asking.

I happened to be in the city and saw the crowds at the city hall and went over to see and thats when i saw them

This "pancake flipping" video is interesting to watch in terms of their interaction with the crowd and between themselves.
They both come across as very confident in what they are doing but with a sense of ease and naturalness.

Both of them have a good sense of coordination and contact with public.I liked very much the way they behaved with kids, from what I suppose they are very ready to become parents.

The video was wonderful. You really do get a sense that William and Kate are among the crowd with them rather than distant and aloof and being "on display". They're definitely a good team together and seem to really enjoy what they are doing and not putting on an act. As far as the pancakes go, I don't know who was having more fun. William and Kate or the kids. William gets my vote as the most adept pancake flipper of the day. :D

:previous:William is really wonderful with the children, very natural in his interactions with the public. I'm just sorry he's losing his hair so fast:shock:

My favorite part of the pancake video is how William keeps picking the pancake up off the ground for the little kids. Not exactly an aloof royal. lol

:previous:Ahh that's what it is I was like what in the heck that's the weirdest pancake I've ever seen in my whole life.....

This is a slight mistake printed in some papers.
William actually said "MY handwriting has got to get better," not "your handwriting"...
See video
Wow yes clearly MY handwriting ...

Let me ask this of the knowledgable posters here- did that little girl at the end of video say Kate said 'I am very lucky and you should be jealous' or is the little girl confused or did I mishear?

^I think in response to her comment to Kate which was " you're a very lucky lady and am very jealous" the little girl says that Kate said " I am a very lucky lady and I think you would be jealous" that's what I can interpret from it

That conversation with the little girl is actually not conclusive. According to reports, that 11-year-old said: "You're a very lucky lady. I'm so jealous,"

to which Kate replied: "I am lucky. He's a very nice man and I'm looking forward to spending the rest of my life with him."

Uh, whoever wrote this article may want to fix a small part of it... :) they say he said his mother wouldn't be pleased if he wore groom hat but he actually said grandmother ...oops! :)

Wow talk about difference from what she said on the video to what the article has her down as saying

They both looked to be enjoying their visit very much and I believe that's the last "province" of the United Kingdom for them to visit, right?

I really liked Kate's coat and it looked lovely and warm on what looked like a day w/a bit of a nip to it. Was also impressed w/William's pancake flipping ablities. Kate did a fair job too, but William's had a bit more height to them. ;)

I just wish I hadn't forgotten yesterday was Pancake/Shrove Tuesday, as we have pancakes for Supper on occasion and what better day to do that on, right? :D

Does anyone know if Kate will be sitting for her portrait to be done? IIRC, Diana did in the months before the Wedding and it's in The National Portrait Gallery. Any idea?

Going to get killed cause I'm steering waaay off topic but I didn't know it was Shrove Tuesday but when I saw William and Kate with the pancakes I got an awful craving so I ran to the store and bought some  talk about influence! I think this should be it till after the wedding but ya never know with these two! They surprised me this morning!

Right I actually cried over this one my five year old self is kicking me right about now

Right going back to this article she called her Katie....haha how cute:lol:
In Belfast, Rebecca Fletcher, 11, who took the day off school, called "Katie!" and offered a bouquet of daffodils.

 I had been wondering about that quote because it seemed an odd thing to say. Makes far more sense if he actually said Grandmother!

I have a feeling Her Majesty is standing there smiling and telling herself, "Finally, after all these years, the Monarchy is safe, and will be in good hands with William and Catherine."

I have no doubt. You can feel it. They really are the couple who will shore up the foundation, and keep secure the history.

I hope and pray they have a wonderful life together.

Beautifully expressed Lady Marmalade.:flowers:

My comment was unsurprisingly deleted, but I said that it isn't safe yet, not IMO, not until they have either a son or a handful of daughters. This maybe the fairytale wedding, and yes Kate and William are wonderful for each other and they will do the Monarchy good, but to me that doesn't take it any further away from the danger zone.
