grateful thanks for these wonderful photos. sigh i miss her so much, there will never be a more timeless, elegant, regal woman to admire for to many reasons to count. Imo as dated as the photos are (at least 30 years old) they still look contemporary and modern....she would look stylish today in People magazine , such excellent taste and flair. i've never seen the white dress on a boat photo before, excellent find ((hug)) but she is flawless, i want that dress....anyone sew?

That picture was printed in the American magazine "National Geographic" in the early 60s. I remember when I found that magazine back in the mid-1990s, I freaked out because it was such a great portrait. I was CRAZY back then!

I love the 4th pic you posted, I've seen other shots from this series but not this one. I always thought Yousuf Karsh shot this series (and those beautiful profile shots of Grace and Rainier) in Grace's apartment back in early 1956. I know Mr. Conant shot lots of engagement photos there as well at around the same time. Grace was a true professional. I would have lost my mind with all those pre-wedding portrait sessions and other plans!

Ah, yes here they are! Those last two portraits I'm certain were done by Karsh. There was an article in "Look" magazine that talks about this session. Good work queenofthelight!!!

I like this photo very much.They were happy together.In one ocassion Grace said ,that she married for the best and for the worst,but she said that her marriage, was finally for the best:flowers:

What is your opinion? Was Grace happy with Prince Rainier or not? Why?
 
My opinion is that they were happy together.Rainier was a good person and he was destroyed by Grace´s death.I think he never recovered from her death.In all the inteviews of Rainier,he looked so sad and nostalgic,he missed Grace so much.
 
I love her pink hat as much as her white hat.She is so glamorous
