So it's quiet right now. Most journalists have begun flying over to Montego Bay but right now Harry should at Falmouth. I have got to go to class now so no more updates from me till later tonight but I know you guys will be kept up to date by other members.https://twitter.com/#!/RoyalReporter
 
Prince Harry to visit Pantanal in Brazil

According to columnist Hildegard Angel, Prince Harry wants to visit the Pantanal Region in Brazil and will probably stay there at the paper tycoons Klabins' ranch (in Brazil we call it "fazenda"). Príncipe Harry quer conhecer o Pantanal, e o que a Sarahyba tem com isso? | Hildegard Angel
Pantanal is a vast region in the westernmost part of Brazil (a part of it is in Bolivia an Paraguay's territory and is called Charco there ).
It is one of the world's largest wetland and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pantanal floodplains are submerged during the rainy seasons and it allows an astonishing biologically diversity of plants and animal species. The most important economic ativicty there is extensive cattle raising. When the rainy season arrives the cattle has to be moved to higher lands. The tourism has been developing year after year. I can understand why Pince Harry might have showed interest in it. Here you can see some of the landscape and animals:

Thanks to all for the updates and postings of Prince Harry's tour, I must say, I am so fond of him. I'm sure HM as well as prince Charles is very proud of him. Makes me miss Diana some too!

And so concludes Harry's Caribbean tour next up Brazil on Friday!! Tomorrow he will have a relatively private day. Then on Thursday afternoon he will depart and head for Brazil. So I will see you guys again on Friday.

It's difficult to overstate the extent to which Harry has succeeded with this visit. Several of today's papers have glowing reports, praising him for his charm and ability to connect with all sorts of people. The opinion seems to be that Harry is a wonderful ambassador for our nation, and not just the 'party prince' the press had assumed.

The Times also has a glowing article which I won't like to as it's paywalled. This is a flavour of it:
This trip attracted a great deal of international attention, with TV crews present from four of the US TV networks — ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN — and Australia’s Channel 9. On a visit to a live firing range yesterday he offered a reminder of the prickly relationship that he and his brother have with photographers as a result of the circumstances surrounding their mother’s death and their own experiences. Turning to the media pack he made a (sort of) joke, inviting volunteers for target practice: “Anyone with a camera want to stand the other end?” A veteran of many royal tours says: “William feels the same way about the press but he deals with it better.”

Overall, though, as the Prince concludes the jubilee part of his trip and prepares to fly on to Brazil, he will feel pleased that this crucial leg of his travels has been well received. When it was suggested that it had gone surprisingly well a royal source countered: “I don’t think it is a surprise. Harry is a very charismatic guy who has enormous capacity to be appropriate in whatever situation. He has never done a period of royal engagements as intense as this and you never know how he is going to fare in that environment, but I don’t think any of us felt that he would put a foot wrong.
“He has got a great heart and great emotional intelligence and as a consequence anyone who works with him is always confident that he will excel in any situation in public.”

Wow he sure does sound like Charles! I was looking over some of the pics earlier this week. In one pic Harry was smiling and I thought he resembled the Queen. Never thought that before.

I so love the pictures of him hugging people and children. It doesn't seem staged, it's absolutely spontaneous and genuine IMO. He's a great guy: fun, dutiful and with lots of compassion. I think this tour is a big success. Good for him! :flowers:

In my opinion, Prince Harry has inherited the best from both Charles and Diana.
He has Prince Charles' sense of humour (have to disagree with corazon there), mannerism and character, with the addition of Diana's common touch and charm. In other words, he is nothing short of a perfect Prince. ;)

Upon watching photos on this page I understood, that Harry is the best royal hugger ever and I don't care from whom he inherited it :D :D:D

Some links about Prince Harry in Brazil. There are some pictures of him arriving in Rio, info about him staying at Hotel Windsor (the name of the hotel is very proper but I had thought he would stay at the most charming hotel in Rio - Copacabana Palace). People here in Brazil are very upset about foreigners' view of Brazil : only favelas, samba and football. Brazil is much more than that. Favelas are a sad reality but when Brazilian politicians go abroad, nobody cares to show them their not perfect pristine areas and their modern "guetos".
Prince Hary in now relaxing by the swimming pool at the top of the hotel. Girls are saying he is hot and practicing their English in case they can get close to him: Harry you are handsome and I love you!
One thought about Maria Gadu, the singer appointed to sing tonight at the top of Morro da Urca (where the cable cars of the city are): The organizers of the event could have chosen a better Brazilian singer such as Ivete Sangalo.

It seems Prince Harry only drank sodas and ate “pasteis” (fast food Brazilian dish consisting of a thin pastry envelope wrapping with assorted fillings that is deep fried)., but some of his companions drank alcohol beverages.
