Well surely this will be discussed with the bride and groom beforehand. And let's remember that at a private event like a society wedding, there will be professional photographers there, not the Daily Mail/Sun papparazzi, so there's no fear of having the moment taken away from the bride and groom.
However, according to Meghan's co-star Patrick Adams, Meghan did not attend his wedding late last year because of the breaking news that she was dating Harry and she didn't want to cause a disruption. So I think she has proven that she's emotionally intelligent and sensitive enough to steer clear of events where she would bring too much chaos and attention.
We'll see what happens.

For me the issue is that they have been very private about their relationship (no judgment, just a fact), and the desire for pictures of them together is still very high. If I were the bride, I would not be happy with the media that will surely be there trying to capture a picture of the 2 of them together. It has the potential to be very disruptive, and I would hope that Harry & Meghan are emotionally intelligent and sensitive enough to realize that.
IMO they should make their debut at a more impersonal event, let the press have their pictures, and the novelty will wear off soon enough.
