I think the overcoat is great, the cut and the color are great. And I like her gray (stripe or checkered seeing closely) suit, very professional, but unfortunately could not be seen due to that ugly scarf. Why would you wear scarf when you dress a indoor suit? Wouldn't it be more normal wear it when you have overcoat on and is outdoor? Also, That flap of half bang go to me, she would get a stiff neck, if she is constantly trying to tilt her head so she could see.

Mary and Frederik's Fairy Tale Visit to the Big Apple

Hello Magazine

The heir to the Danish crown, Frederik and his wife Mary have taken New York by storm during a week-long stay in the City That Never Sleeps. The couple, who began their trip late last week quietly visiting the Big Apple, resumed their royal duties Sunday as they inaugurated the official Hans Christian Anderson Exhibition at Scandinavia House in the heart of the city.

Elegant Mary was presented with a bouquet of flowers by her hosts before visiting a series of rooms inspired by fairy tales by the beloved Danish author. After the tour she also took time to meet with young children who were visiting the exhibit, and took part in a discussion about the author's works.

With the towering silhouette of the Empire State building behind them, Mary and Frederik took a walking tour of the city, discovering the snowy winter streets of Brooklyn and strolling down the banks of the East River. As part of their official duties, the royal couple will visit such New York city landmarks as the Museum of Modern Art and the United Nations building.

The crown prince and princess are visiting New York to help kick off this year's bicentennial of the birth of Hans Christian Andersen – the prolific writer who penned several hundred classic children's stories including The Little Mermaid and The Ugly Duckling.

I must say, I love the Green dress, while I could do without the black stockings in the crocodile skin shoes. I would say though, that it is hard to get a proper look at the dress on the pictures - the shade changes due to the lightning. I saw a clip of the couple in the news, and I think, the dress looked a bit darker than on these stills.

I kind of like the green suit, the colour differs in the pictures, but the brown hose and snake skin shoes is a bit of an eye sore

I love Mary's green suit and I think the shoes are divine but I think she should have chosen lower denier stockings. They would have looked far more elegant.

Great pictures! Both CP Frederick and CP Mary seem to be enjoying themselves on this trip. I have been to the public library in NYC, and it is absolutley beautiful. Afterall, it was built by the Rockafellers. Very lucky children to have the Crown Prince couple read them fairy tales.

Another great outfit from Mary. Her makeup and hair have been especially good on this trip. CP Frederick has been looking good too,..I like all of the coloured cordinated shirts and ties he has been wearing. Now that he is married he seems to have suddenly got a lot better loooking..lol

I quite like the outfit but what's with the opaque stockings? I think sheer are more elegant.

I like Pink coats and green dresses by verus Australia?

I agree...those shoes are hideous.
