Prince of Asturias is the Honorary President of the World Championship, and Spain is in the final ... it is his duty to be there. He will be in the authorities box with Princess Mary and politicians.

Iñaki, if he goes, will be seated elsewhere probably with his children (if children are present people do not insult him). Yesterday the Royal House left more than clear his position on it. It's stupid to go, hopefully he will not do anything more stupid.
 
I bet if Inaki shows up, he will be seated outsite the photographic range of Prince Felipe. Still, its a farce.

Inaki has visited all games so far (I think), why would be miss the final.

Denmark was doing a great tournament, don´t know what happened today. They weren´t at their best, certainly.
 
Spain blew out Denmark so unexpectedly, Felipe definitely had a great time at the game, so did Inaki and kids.

I take it Felipe and Inaki were seated as far as possible from each other.
While understandable, it's kind of sad too: they are, after all, brothers-in-law.

What makes me sad the most are the Urdangarin children. Having their uncle so close and seeing he doesn´t even go to greet them...that must be hard to understand for them :sad:

Yes that's what I thought too,one of them looks to be taking a photo of the Prince?
 
I guess he was taking a photo of the players and the trophy.
 
Iñaki is their father and makes his decisions. He could have acted more wisely, but decided to do this way, and put his children in difficult situations. Not only by the presence of the Prince, people is not very happy seeing Iñaki happy and enjoy VIP privileges, and probably only the presence of children avoids the boos.
 
 
Inaki was a former handball star, he was sitting with other former handball stars. Why can't he go to a handball final with his children ? Some people were just whining too much.
