Today Carl Philip got to drive one of the stages in the rally.

During the afternoon, Carl Philip drove one of the stages of the Rally, a display at the Umeås sprint which is 5.16 kilometers long. By his side in the car, Petter Solberg, world champion in rally in 2003 and double world champion in rallycross in 2014 and 2015.
- It's always fun, it was very fun to do it together with Petter but without notes and the first time in the car. So it's special but great fun, says Carl Philip to SVT Sport.
Petter Solberg:
- Great fun, he's not afraid, nice car control, it would have been fun if I could have given him notes. He really wanted to jump and landed hard on the front, it was fun.

National team driver Joel Bergström temporarily takes over Prince Carl Philip's car in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Scandinavia. The young Piteå driver will, thanks to a unique collaboration between the Porsche Sprint Challenge and the Swedish Automobile Association, make a jump into the championship at the Drivecenter Arena in Fällfors at the turn of June-July.
- I am of course very grateful to have this chance. It's huge for me, says Bergström.

Carl Philip doesn't participate at the Porsche Sprint Challenge Cup Scandinavia's races this weekend either, this is a second racing weekend on the row he doesn't race.

Bergström replaces prince Carl Philip also in Västkustloppet
At the Drivecenter Arena in Fällfors, Joel Bergström made his racing debut with a start in Prince Carl Philip's car in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Scandinavia. The 16-year-old karting talent impressed with three podiums in the GT4 category and got a taste of racing with a roof over his head. He will replace the prince again when the next competition is decided during the classic Västkustloppet in Falkenberg.

Carl Philip doesn't participate at the Porsche Sprint Challenge Cup Scandinavia's races on 18-19 August either.

New national team driver takes over prince Carl Philip's car in Porsche Sprint Challenge
In Fällfors and Falkenberg it was driven by karting talent Joel Bergström. In Kanonloppet at Gelleråsen Arena on August 18-19, another national team driver takes over Prince Carl Philip's Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport. William Karlsson will be the next driver in the unique collaboration between the Porsche Sprint Challenge Scandinavia and the Swedish Automobile Association.
- I am very grateful to have the opportunity, says the 17-year-old from Katrineholm.

Carl Philip doesn't race at Porsche Sprint Challenge Cup Scandinavia today and tomorrow.
Instead he races at Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia at Gelleråsen Arena.

Carl Philip is back in the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia. When Kanonloppet is decided at Gelleråsen Arena on August 18-19, the prince makes a foray into the championship. The race will be his first in the latest generation of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.
- I have been eyeing this car for a long time and now I finally get the chance to drive it, says Carl Philip.
Another reason for Carl Philip's entry into the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia in the classic Kanonloppet is that Dane Jan Magnussen's car is vacant.
- Magnussen had other commitments and that opened up a gap for me, says Carl Philip, who got to test drive the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) for the first time at the Gelleråsen Arena last week.
- What a car! Fantastic balance! Really fun to drive. It is more harmonious than the previous generation and, as I said, has better balance, both in the braking moments and in the curves.

Carl Philip attended last weekend also the inauguration of the new karting track at Gelleråsen Arena. The final of the Prince Carl Philips Racing Pokal will be driven there on 7-8 October. The inauguration took place last Saturday, in the middle of the classic Kanonloppet.
Carl Philip cut the ribbon together with Tony Ring, chairman of the municipal board in Karlskoga municipality. The duo did it in a different and spectacular way – behind the wheel of their own electric kart, the Rotax E20. Ribbon holders were the racing trophy's promoter Thomas Johansson and Gelleråsen Arena's track owner Richard Göransson.
- Funny and different, thought Carl Philip who, after his first laps on the track, where lightly dosed turn seven actually bears his name, "The Prince's Curve", said this:
- The track felt very good, fast and with many different kinds of curves that offer plenty of overtaking opportunities. I think the guys and girls who do a lot of karting will like it.

Carl Philip will race next season in the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia, in the top Porsche Experience Racing team.
- It will be fun to continue competing in the championship. I had the opportunity to drive two races in the new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 2023 and look forward to more starts in the car, says Carl Philip.
Thomas Johansson, Sporting director for Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia is of course very happy about Carl Philip's participation.
What Carl Philip's program will look like in detail is not completely nailed down yet. It is clear that his Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) will participate in all six races. A replacement driver will be deployed when Carl Philip has to withdraw due to other commitments.
