Prince Andrew is visiting Germany on 3-4 June as part of celebrations marking 300th anniversary of union of the crowns of Hanover & England.

The Duke of York has started his two day tour across Lower Saxony to mark the 300th anniversary of the 'Personal Union' between Britain and Hanover.


Among other events he visited Volkswagen car plant in Wolfsburg today, June 3:

He visited the State Museum of Lower Saxony in Hanover, Germany, that currently shows an exhibition marking the 300th anniversary. A celebration at Castle Herrenhausen followed.

On June 5 the Duke of York was in Toronto, Canada. He visited Bayview School, attended a reception for The Queen's York Rangers, he attended a reception for and the trooping of the new Guidon at Blue Barracks, Old Fort York and he attended a reception for The Queen's York Rangers at the National Club.
