Why is it protocol that they wait 6 months?
They are probably the only people on the planet-other than prison inmates-who know where they will be and what they will be doing a year from now!
Regarding her friendship with both Giorgio and Roberta, I can't see how she can not have a wedding dress from them.
Colour: I'd go for sea green - like a nymph !
But I suspect we'll have to settle for white or cream.....
PA is not only Charlene's fiancé, but also a Head of State, and his diary is already so crowded that they will have a job finding a date.
The reason his dairy is so crowded is that he has many official duties arising from his position, as well as his strong commitments to charities, especially his own PA2 Foundation.
I was joking - of course it will be white or cream.
Perhaps they will take Grace's wedding gown out of the Princes sGrace exhibition and alter it.
Charlene could definitely not fit inside Grace's dress!!! She is much more heavily built
Valentino! The master of femininity. I love his work.I would love to see her in a very delicate dress covered in pearls, diamonds and with some beautiful lace.
Marchesa or Valentino.
I don't see why Caro and Charlotte must wear Chanel, I understand that they like it, but they can differ from the norm.

Had you asked me a year ago if Caroline would wear Chanel, I would have said yes absolutely. But now, she's straying a little. Which is great because I'm not keen on Karl's recent collections. And Charlotte is more of a Gucci girl now.
Just please God don't let Charlene's dress be Armani. I love him and I think he's a genius but I can't see him designing a wedding gown. His style is too angular and conceptual.
Oh I know Giorgio designed Katie's dress. And I have to say I didn't like it much. One of the few times I've ever disliked an A-line cut. It was too severe for my taste and not at all feminine IMO.Armani did Katie Holmes's wedding gown and it was very pretty.
I never heard of this 6 months wait because of protocol.
Philippe and Mathilde got engaged in september and were married in december.
No royal EVER releases the date the same day the engagement is announced, Victoria didn't do it Nikolaos didn't do it, None of the British royals did it, they all wait a while before announcing the date.

It was never antiquated for museum purposes. and it has disintegrated.Gros Faille which was the textile of her skirt and cummerbund disintegrates if not proper lined. For some reason, I thought I read somewhere (maybe on this board), that there were some problems with how Grace's dress preserved, i.e., while they're still able display it, somehow the preservation methods had a negative impact on the quality of the dress over the years, so it wouldn't be suitable to use again. Maybe my memory is playing jokes on me though...
