I don't know. Not yet king for two years & on pm number three already. It's like living in a banana republic!

Let's hope this one lasts a bit longer!

If i only look at the Number of living former Primer Minsters. That is almost the Number we had at Chancellors in 75 years here

At the the time of the 2015 general election there were only three former pm's living - Major, Blair & Brown.

Now, as you illustrate, we have legions of them!

Anyway, with his thumping majority this one shoud last five years. If he doesn't we need to outsource UK government to the Isle of Man or Jersey/Guernsey!

Had he become king only a few days earlier, it would have been his fourth!

And with the eldest of them (John Major) only being 81, that list may continue to grow…

(In Sweden we are not much better with 6 living former PM’s)

A bit OT but the reason we had so few Chancellors is that we we had 3 wo where in office for 16 years

Given the size of the majority Johnson won in 2019 that was said then but he didn't last five years and the party had three PMs despite that massive majority.

Sir Keir Starmer must be one of the first PM's to hold a title while entering Downing Street in over 100 years.
