Pre-Wedding Information for Victoria and Daniel's Wedding

It has not been officially announced yet that whether it will be a morning or an afternoon wedding, but a few hints (like the caterer providing 'dinner' at the Palace, not lunch or brunch) point towards an afternoon wedding - fortunately.

I certainly hope that the concert will have a white tie & tiara dress code. If it would take place in the grander surroundings of the Royal Opera, it would almost be a given, but now I suppose we just have to wait and see.

To Guido: There is no information about the performers at the concert yet.

According to Svensk Damtidning it will be an afternoonwedding.... but you know SDT... they are yelling "the wolfe is coming" even if the wolf is not coming... so... but we can hope!

I suppose they don´t mention Daniel since he isn´t a part of the Royal family yet - he will be only once he and Victoria marries

ANP has a couple of pictures of men and women from the 4th Naval Warfare Flotilla, who practiced how to row the Royal Barge ‘Vasaorden’ in a substitute boat in front of the Royal Palace in Stockholm.
Although the royal court has made no mention of it, it’s clear now that the Royal barge will be used at the wedding, following the bridal couple’s carriage ride, just like it was in 1976.
The last time the ‘Vasaorden’ was used was in the year 2000, when The King and Queen took the Japanese Imperial couple for a ride during their state visit to Sweden.

Victoria and Daniel will give only one interview to SVT due to the wedding, SVT had hoped for many interviews, but they are giving just one long interview. Now the question is who gets the honour to interview them.

According this article in the norweigian paper Dagbladet the wedding will be held in the afternoon (meaning whitetie with tiaras ), the article claims this info from the staff of the court. And then they speculate in wich crowns will be used during the ceremony (we don´t know if there will be any crowns by the altar as there were when the King and Queen married) that will symbolice Daniel as prince.

Actually, this is not confirmed news. Neither the Swedish nor the Dutch Court have commented. The source for the info is the twitter account of the editor-in-chief of the Dutch magazine 'Royalty'.

Of course it suggests itself that Catharina-Amalia is a very likely candidate for a bridesmaid (or rather a flowergirl), but so far it's speculation, albeit from a usually well-informed source.
