I took a look at the Novella website one minute ago. Unfortunately all you can read at the moment is the news headlines: they write that the adoring brunette appearing in those pictures is his second cousin Melanie.!???

I don't thought the girl is Mélanie De Massy.

No way, that ain't Melanie de Lusignan. Not even remotely possible. The only similarity that girl and Melanie have is dark and long hair. Well, I guess that's two similarities, but beyond that, this girl is much skinnier than Mel and the faces do not bear any resemblance. Besides, as mariacris pointed out, this girl and Pierre had a far too intimate interaction to be appropriate for third cousins. Mel and Pierre are third, not second, but even third is too close of a relation. Generally, any degree of cousin from first to fifth is too close for intimate relations. Obviously, some people have varying opinions on that, though. I realize that not everyone feels the same when it comes to cousinly relations, but this forum is certainly not the place for that debate! So suffice it to say that, in mainstream and modern circumstances, it is not typically done.

I have to agree with louisgarrel that this girl isn't likely to be seen again. She seemed much more into Pierre than he was into her. What do you think?

I don't think it will happen, but I have long felt that he and Chrissy Maillot would make a darling couple.

well, lets not be too cynical. she probably is more into pierre than he is into her, but isn't that to be expected? he might keep her around until he finds someone he likes more which could be sooner or later, but i feel bad for her already. i hope pierre finds someone he likes more than she likes him back, that way he'll learn what its like for the girl

Hey, I am sure that he likes her, but he definitely seems to like her as a friend more than anything else. They just don't have 'chemistry' in these pics. Now maybe the pics didn't capture the true essense of their relationship, but the pics are all we have to judge by, and the pics reveal a guy who isn't romantically turned on by a girl (though he likes her as a friend) and a girl who very much is "in like" (smitten) with the guy.

but anyway, this might be silly but in the pictures the girls smiling adoringly at him, but he barely looks at her except for when hes kissing her but i guess its only 3 pictures and they were together for a longer time so its hard to tell.

YAY!! I was wondering if he would participate! I was hoping hoping hoping! Didn't he participate in something similar when he was little, around 1997 or something?
There was a beach soccer event in Monaco that was playing in. Was that for AMADE too?

I don't know if you've ever been to France, but I can tell you the "metrosexual" type is very very common right now (maybe too much, I tend to like delicate but more manly guys) . I don't know Pierre's sexual orientation (and I'm not that interested either) but he seems to me just an "à la page" rich Parisian guy; there are so many that leave you with the doubt if they are or not straight, and in the end they are.

Just my experience, I hope I have not offended any Parisian in any way,
