It’s new and it’s an 8- part drama written by Deborah Davis who wrote The Favourite. Marie Antoinette is played by the German actress Emilia Schule.

The filming of Season 2 began in October 2023,hopefully we will see it before Christmas '24!

I watched the Katherine Parr movie 'Firebrand' over the weekend
The movie was well acted and the sets and costumes were excellent but sadly the script and historical inaccuracies let it down.
Katherine was portrayed as some sort of Protestant Joan of Arc who would be martyred for her Reformist Zeal!

Jude Law was almost unrecognisable as an obese and increasing infirm tyrannical King Henry.
