This tradition of a Norvegian Christmas tree to London is as nice as the tulips' one from the Netherlands to Ottawa. I just love those traditions.

If anything should happen - Norway would be back to how it was in 1905 - with no royal family. Princess Astrid & Princess Ragnhild and their descendants are not in line to the throne. It isn't like the case of the British line that goes on and on and on...iowabelle said:They must never have seen the movie "King Ralph"! Knock on wood... but I could become queen of Norway! (To the best of my knowledge, I don't have any royal Norwegian connections.)
So if Norway would be back to how it was 100 years ago; would the King of Sweden again be the King of Norway like it was in the past?norwegianne said:If anything should happen - Norway would be back to how it was in 1905 - with no royal family. Nope, new referendum on what we'd like, I suppose. The constitution states that if there are no heir to the throne, then the King can point one out as his sucessor, with the approval of the Storting, but if there were no king... All theoretical, though.Her_Majesty said:So if Norway would be back to how it was 100 years ago; would the King of Sweden again be the King of Norway like it was in the past?
Really, you are more nobel than me, I was hoping for some pictures and am disapointed that even if Se og Hør seems to know where they are the have not managed to get any pictures. all they had today was a bla bla article about Daddys girl Ingrid celebrating her birthday in the caribbean, and then they photshopped a paper crown on her headcrm2317 said:I am shocked but also glad for the family that the paparazzi have left them alone while they are on vacation.
