I don't know about anyone else but I think the resemblance between Lady Gabriella and her great aunt Mary, The Princess Royal, is uncanny. I also think that she strongly resembles her aunt, Princess Alexandra, as another contributor to this thread has already highlighted.

Wow! Uncanny? It's almost like her reincarnation! Spooky resemblance!

And what haunting beauties they are! :) Well in pictures for the late Princess Royal.

Gabriella Meets Whirling Dervishes of Turkey

Head covered by an all-enveloping scarf, Lady Gabriella Windsor was hardly recognisable as she mingled with worshippers at a mosque in the Turkish city of Konya. On a visit to one of the country's holiest sites, the society beauty donned the modest attire to see local Sufis participate in the famous whirling dervish ceremony.........

I also think its strange that Lady Gabriella and the Wales and Phillips do not interact that much if any. Even if they don't do it often, you would think you would on occcassion see pictures of them together.

I also think that's strange too
But I think the fact that Ella don't interact with Wills is because of her mother's relationship with Diana

Andrew Morton in his book written after "Diana her true story" cited Princess Michael as one of the few Royals Diana not only still spoke to but whom she actually grew close too in the latter years of her life.

Was Lady Gabriella and her brother ever invited to any of William's Birthday and are they most likely to be invited to Beatrice's upcoming Birthday party?

from what i understand, i dont think the queens grandchildren are close to Gabriella and Freddy anymore..so i dounbt that they would be invited to Beatrices Birthday.

Indeed hehe I Do sometimes wonder how much of a chace she has of Becomming Queen.

Wasn't there a time where it was rumored that Lady Gabrielle and Prince Felipe of Spains mothers try to have the match as a couple? That was when the Kents visited Spain and there was a picture of the Gabriella, Felipe, and their mothers walking with them. Does anyone remember that?

I think she is quite pretty and she and Felipe would have looked good together and had good-looking children. I don't think she chooses the most flattering clothing though. She chooses pieces that age her, rather than ones that make her look young and desirable. Not to say she should dress in anything more revealing, but in younger styles. And I think she should avoid black.

Is lady Gabriella Windsor engaged to her boyfriend? They have been together for many years.

There hasn't been an announcement of an engagement.

I think she may have some sort of unofficial contract with the designer Catherine Walker (a favourite of course the late Princess of Wales). For the past couple of years at least Ella has worn Walker's clothes to almost every major event she has attended. The dress she wore at Althorp is by that designer as were the clothes she wore to the premier of the film "King Arthur" two years ago; Ascot in 2004 and the Queen's 80th birthday service to name but a few examples. The relationship appears to have started when Ella wore Catherine Walker dresses in her official 21st birthday pictures and although nothing official has ever been said I wouldn't be surprised if there was mabye some sort of trade off going on similar to Helen Windsor's deal with Armani. I know Helen OFFICIALLY advertises his clothes but it's also common for Royals and celebrities to favour designers unofficially for their mutual benefit and it's possible that this may be the case here.

P.S. I don't say any of this as a criticism but rather admire her good taste whether she has an "arrangement" in place or not.

I think that she has a combination of her Aunt, Alexandra and her Grandmother, Marina's elegance and beauty. She looks more like her paternal relatives than her mother, in my opinion. But anyway you look at it, she is a beautiful woman.

I couldn't agree more with the last post. IMO Freddie is his mother's clone both in looks and personality and Ella is her father's. I think that in the modern day Royal Family there are those who favour Queen Mary and those who favour George V. I saw George VI like his mother; the present Queen and Princess Anne. On the other hand the Duke of Kent resembled his father and so does Princess Alexandra and Ella. The old King had those very distinctive narrow Hanovarian eyes shared by his father Edward VII and which one can also clearly see in his grandaughter and great grandaughter (Alexandra and Ella) today.

Lady Gabriella of Windsor

Pardon me for asking, but who exactly is she?

Ella said in recent interview that CW loans her outfits for major events. (Ironically, she wore Vivienne Westwood in that interview, but whatever)

Tiaratop....Welcome to the Forums.

Are you referring to Lady Gabriella Windsor? She is actually the second cousin of Queen Elizabeth. The daughter of her first cousin, Prince Michael of Kent, who in turn was the son of the Duke of Kent, who was the brother of her (Queen Elizabeth's) father, King George VI. Her mother is Princess Michael of Kent and brother is Lord Frederick Windsor. Her paternal aunt and uncle are Princess Alexandra of Kent and the current, Duke of Kent.

Hope that helps!
