King Felipe said yesterday they would be visiting him in pairs like this in order to not overwhelm the patient. Also, he's probably already on his way to Norway. I guess whatever Letizia does (if she does not go, bad relationship; if she goes with Felipe, it's forced; if she goes along her daughter, she wants the spotlight or who knows what), there will be critics, it's kind of funny.
However, I find his visit today, while unnecessary, convenient since he shows his good relation with the RF, and that he's also back in Madrid before time, on times that are quite uncertain again about the future government, so I'm quite fine with it. Plus that is a signal that KJC is doing quite well, since he is receiving so various visits all day long.
