Queen Sofia of Spain pays a visit to El Proyecto Hombre (The Man Project) which celebrates its 20th anniversary in Palma de Mallorca, with members of local authorities. El Proyecto Hombre helps addicted persons and their families to fight against their addiction to drugs.

The Chairwoman of the Community of Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre, will accompany HM The Queen in the visit that she will realize to the Infantile Hospital of La Paz to know the project of illustration that has is started by the Foundation Paint to Smile. It is a question of a project of therapeutic pioneering art in Spain, which has been validated by infantile psychologists, and that it prosecutes aims so much sanitary, as educational and cultural. The artists of the Foundation " Paint to Smile " have transformed the cold and impersonal environment of the rooms and corridors of the hospital into a world hospitable and full of colors, with scenes of fantasy that allow to the children to escape to places that are not associated with the physical and psychological pain.
