Today 45 years ago that marries King Hussein and Princess Muna.

Princess Muna of Jordan visits the Arab Horse Society Summer Show.

Looking at them I would never picture them as a couple.

I, too, find them an interesting choice. I know there are all sorts of reasons people cite for the marriage but I think he was looking for someone who was just easy to be with...and, by all accounts, they did have a lot of fun together. And sometimes, I suppose, things really can be that simple.

I think Princess Muna looks more beautiful years after the wedding, in late 60s and 70s, even when she was a lot older, on KA's graduation, she looked gorgeous, much attractive than her early days with the King.

Really like the last picture - so many of the pictures from the early 1960's show Muna as being very frumpy but in some pictures she looks quite pretty. She has certainly aged well.

I agree with you Yamamah I like her, I read some old interviews about her and really she loves King Hussein.
I don´t know that KH likes dogs.

Yes I agree with many here. At the time of their engagement and wedding, I couldn´t understand what he had seen in her. But with the passing of the years Muna acquired a better taste in clothes and also looks much better physically.I suppose they had a lot of happy times together and certainly a lovely family.
