King Carl Gustaf and queen Silvia on 13th June 1999 at an eventing competition at Duseborg Estate. Duseborg is a manor house outside Linköping owned by the king's friend Hans Eric Brodin (Andrea Brodin's father), which arranged the Swedish and Nordic Championships in eventing between 1991 and 2002.

Thron Ullberg has shared another photo from his shoot with King Carl XVI Gustaf and Brandie (King's dog) at Stenhammar. LadyFinn has previously posted another photo from the same shoot- which was done in connection with Vi and some of the photographs have been given to the Nationalmuseum in connection to the King's 70th birthday.

1970s - King Carl XVI Gustaf and aviation pilot board aircraft SK 37 Viggen on F 7 Såtenäs, 1974. F 7 Såtenäs is an active air flotilla that was started in 1940 and is located in Lidköping municipality. In December 1987, it was decided that the F 7 would be the initial flotilla that was re-armed to the JAS 39 Gripen. Which had the effect that flight and simulator training of all Gripen pilots would be centralized to the flotilla. The Gripen Center, as it is called, was inaugurated on June 9, 1996 by King Carl XVI Gustaf.

The first print of this artwork was made for the King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden and is since then hanging in their dining room. The Queen has opened the art exhibits of Thomas Dellert in many countries since the 1980s including America.
This is a hand printed silks screen made for Andy Warhol in 1979-80 and presented to him in his Factory in New York in 1980. It is the last one existing out of only ten ever made in 79-80.

Photos from August 19, 2023, when Ukraine's President Zelenskiy and his wife visited the King and Queen at Stenhammar Palace in Flen. Rare photos from the interior of Stenhammar Palace too.

The Minister for Social Services Camilla Waltersson Grönvall posted to her Instagram:
"Some days are just a little more special. Yesterday was such a day. I had the opportunity to meet @olenazelenska_official at Stenhammar Palace together with the Queen to discuss the situation of the children during the brutal war since the full-scale invasion from Russia. Her Majesty the Queen's commitment is well known and @worldchildhoodfoundation works in many places in Ukraine.
The Queen was able to tell that through Childhood's care, additional Barnhaus will now be in place in Ukraine. Olena Zelenska also has her own foundation, @zelenskafoundation, which works for the situation of children in her home country. We took her stories, descriptions and wishes very seriously and with great sadness..."

Stenhammar might have a modest exterior (it's really a country house underneath an imposing roof) but some of it's rooms are rather grand.
