King Carl Gustaf's greeting
"This year's World Scout Jamboree has offered a series of extraordinary challenges. Therefore, I want to send a special greeting to your Swedish scouts and leaders on site in South Korea.
As scouts, you are always ready. You don't cancel – you change! With joint efforts, you have been able to continue the camp in another location.
As you now finish your stay in South Korea, it is my hope that you have developed as scouts and made friends and memories for life.”

The World Scout Jamboree in South Korea ends this weekend, which brought together roughly 40,000 scouts. 2000 Swedish scouts have been on site. Since the start of the camp, this year's jamboree has been surrounded by a series of extraordinary challenges. From heat wave and torrential rain to typhoon warning, which has led to all participants being moved from the camp site to other parts of the country.
Before the end of the camp, the King, who is the first honorary member of the @scouterna and honorary chairman of the World Scout Foundation, has sent a greeting to the Swedish scouts @wsj23_sweden.

King Carl Gustaf attended on October 6-7 the 75th Baden-Powell Fellowship Event in Kandersteg, Switzerland.
During His closing address, His Majesty The King of Sweden reflected on His Golden Jubilee and fifty years on the Swedish throne, and his Scouting journey over the last seventy years. He reflected on the fantastic days shared in Kandersteg, thanked all present for sharing their stories and reminding everyone how Scouting transforms lives and called on BP Fellows to continue driving the efforts to ensure more young people can experience Scouting.
"Thanks to my years in the Scouts, I see how important value-based leadership is. Both for the individual — and his or her personal development, but also for the opportunity to do good in society. Scouting is a universal language that knows, no boundaries. I am happy to see the Movement growing. Still, to support Scouting and spread this strong organisation, we have to do much more — and continue our efforts every day! So, as we celebrate the BP Fellows here tonight, I challenge you, to continue doing all you can, to reach our goals. You are doing a great job!"

King Carl Gustaf yesterday at the 76th BP Fellowship Event:
What an amazing opening day in Rio de Janeiro! We’re thrilled to welcome our BP Fellows and Young BP Fellows from across the globe to the 76th BP Fellowship Event. Here in Brazil, we’re celebrating Scouting, the Brazilian Scout Centenary, and exploring the powerful impact of Scouting worldwide with a goal to drive more funding for World Scouting!
Today, as part of Scouts of Brazil’s 100th anniversary, WSF Honorary Chairman HM King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden planted a tree with Scouts from the 75th Air Scout Group, marking the Escoteiros do Brasil goal to plant 100,000 native trees this year. It’s incredible to be part of such a meaningful initiative!
