Now that is the perfect national day greeting :ROFLMAO: The picture is so sweet. I guess we did get to see Oscar today even if not in person :flowers:

I love the one with Victoria and both kids. It is so sweet :flowers:

But I think my favorite is the one with Estelle and the sheep :p

I do find it odd another series of a few photos and still no Dan :ermm: He has only been in the christening photos with his son. And even in the official photos, Victoria is holding him. Daniel at least holds him in the ceremony. It would have been great for Daniel to be with them in this lovely picture set, in a comfortable informal photo unlike the christening.

But still so happy for new photos.:)
 
Cute photos! I agree about Prince Daniel. Wish he was in the photos even though Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar are the focus.

ETA: Could Estelle or Oscar be wearing clothes previously worn by Victoria, Madeleine or Carl Philip? More clothing Queen Silvia saved.

I also wish they had included Prince Daniel. But I have to say that I do not like Kate Gabor's photos very much.
 
I love the way Kate Gabor takes photos of children. Like Svensk Damtidning wrote at their article, she has clearly watched the old photos taken of the king and the Haga princesses as children, and takes sometimes similar photos of Estelle, and now of Oscar, of course. I think that it is a way for Victoria to connect with her grandparents, who lived at Haga, but whom she never met.
But anyway, in Gabor's photos the children are natural and lovely.

There is really a big celebration at Sofiero. But they are celebrating the National Day and their 150th anniversary, so it is only natural, great to see so much people there. And the king and queen are visiting Oscar's duchy.

Nice to see the Mistress of the Robes, Kirstine von Blixen-Finecke, helping countess Marianne. There is a lot of court staff, also the First Lady of the Court, Anna Hamilton is there, and the First Marshal of the Court Mats Nilsson and Marshal of the Court Lars-Erik Tindre, major general Håkan Pettersson, queen's lady-in-waiting Harriet Bredelius and the king's aide-de-camp.

I find it very surprising that Daniel seems to be fading from the "important" family photos. We didn't see him with his son in the initial photos, saw him with his son once in the Christening photos and now, on National Day, he's the invisible dad.

I think Gabor could not capture Princess Estelle's natural charm and the photos looked posed and not natural at all (not to mention too waxen features; why photographers feel the need to photoshop children's faces I do not understand!!!). Personally I liked the pictures of princess Leonore running on the Gotland meadow much more. These were natural and showed her enjoyment. Gabor's pictures were just okay-ish but I think that they could have been better. Anyway, its good to see new pictures of The Crown Princess couple, even if it was san Prince Daniel!

Victoria said at her speech among other things: "Our country is the people who live here. Each one carries unique stories. Be proud of your origins, it is part of you and therefore also part of Sweden". She delivered the citizenship certificate and a commemorative gift to new Swedish citizens living in Nacka.

Lol. :ROFLMAO: I know it is not funny but how could they do it? If you are a journalist, a real journalist and not a "fauxtojournalist", you should research databases and sources, and before you publish an article you might proofread if there are mistakes or not. Those are basic principles of journalism, please. And where are editors? DailyFaily at their best, of course! :whistling: :bang: :nonono:​

I like Victoria's dress. It is summery, and Vickan looks great. :flowers:

The picture released are nice but again no Daniel only Victoria and the kids, its a shame IMO as Daniel is the father but seems to be nowhere in family pictures for the past two photoshoots. I am sure they could've timed it better if he was away or busy. The one with Victoria and the kids, it's lovely but I don't like the fact that you can't see Victoria's eye, its just a but weird the hat covering the top part so much.

Victoria looks lovely today and it's nice that Carl and Sophia brought their son to the opening of gates.

Great seeing Alexander out. :flowers: Isnt Sofia supposed to have the head scarf on? I thought married women wore it.

I miss not see Victoria and Estelle in the outfits, though Estelle was in the photos. I thought Madeleine was still in Sweden and attending events today, I haven't seen her.

I agree on the bolded part. I would like a photo with Daniel and Oscar, but well, at least I got to see him hold his son at the baptism. I think he eventually will appear in the pics.

Oscar is too cute! He looks very funny toot and the picture with Estelle is my favourite so far!
 
I'm sure we will see Daniel and Oscar at Victoria's birthday, like we saw Daniel and Estelle. But the main thing today is Sweden's National Day.

Yes. It seems that he was the whole last week in Stockholm, because he and Madeleine were seen at a restaurant with Carl Philip, Sofia and Alexander, and on Friday he was in Gotland with his family. But like Margareta Thorgren told earlier, he had a work appointment, which "he had tried to cancel, but he couldn't". Well, the swedish National Day is always on 6th June...

Instagram has huge amount of photos of the king and queen in Sofiero today. Here are some - but first a great photo of countess Marianne Bernadotte today. There was a lot of walking in Sofiero, so she got some help. At the Sofiero Jubilee Exhibition "Royal Artistry" are of course also Marianne's husband Sigvard Bernadottes designs.

Yes it would be nice to see Chris more, but he is a private citizen. He works an actual job to help support his family. It was nice that he was in Sweden for Leonor's Gotland trip. I missed seeing Leonor more.
