Infanta Cristina inaugurates IES and cooperative society The Villages (Jaen)
The Infanta Cristina inaugurated today in The Villages (Jaen) the amplification of the Institute of Secondary Education (IES) The Tambourine, as well as the new facilities of the cooperative oil bottle San Isidro during a visit of little more than two hours to this small municipality of 5.264 inhabitants.
The visit of the Infanta began at 11 a.m. in the Town hall of The Villages where she was waited by approximately 400 neighbors who were occupying the whole square expecting to see closely for Dona Cristina.
From before 9 a.m. there were entire families waiting in the square annotated with fences, as in the whole tour for which the Infanta went on from her arrival in helicopter to the field of football of the municipality.
Balconies adorned with Spanish flags, shawls and quilts were marking the procession headed by Dona Cristina and accompanied by the delegate of the Government in Andalusia, Juan Jose Lopez Garzón, and the counselor of Presidency, Gaspar Zarrías, besides the mayor, Carmen Anguita.
The Infanta dressed in a suit beige of diplomatic stripe, was received by plaudits and by shouts of ' pretty, pretty ', while she was greeting on the verge of the Town hall thirteen councilmen who shape the municipal corporation.
The visit followed in the IES The Tambourine where Dona Cristina inaugurated the works of amplification and visited some dependences as the library, the teachers' room and three classes with pupils of the first and third of IT as well as of second of Baccalaureate.
