I never knew of any Irish connection with Rita Hayworth prior to this,very interesting.

Me too I never knew Irish connection with Rita. I read spanish connection and Kalo and Romani people connection with Rita.
 
Yes turns out her mother Volga Hayworth was of Irish and English descent and her father Spanish!

Volga (Hayworth) Cansino's father Allynn Duran Hayworth was descended from English Quakers who settled in Pennsylvania in the 17th century.

Her mother was Margaret E. O'Hare so I assume she was of Irish stock with that surname.
She was married 7th of June 1893 in Washington, D.C to Allyn Duran Hayworth.

Allynn Hayworth's wife (Rita's maternal grandmother) Margaret O'Hare was the daughter of Irish emigrants.

Rita Hayworth was 1/2 Spanish (father), 1/4 English (maternal grandfather), and 1/4 Irish (maternal grandmother).

And Yasmins ancestry is even more diverse than her mothers!
 
There's a big equestrian even in Dublin, Ireland and there's a cup that was given by one of the Aga Khans.

The recent criticism of the Trudeau government raised the ethical breach of Justin Trudeau holidaying with a friend.

We should be pleased the friend is the Aga Khan, an honorary citizen of Canada at the initiative of Prime Minister Stephen Harper in 2010. The Aga Khan was conferred an honorary degree by the University of Toronto in 2013 for his foundation’s work on international peace and development initiatives in poorer countries.

I don't know.
The most popular Aga Khan's family period in France was in the past century with the fairytale love-story of Prince Aly and Rita Hayworth and the Aga Khan love story with ex Miss France.

After this period, Aga Khan's family is more located in Switzerland, Sardinia -Italy, the family is very popular in Costa Smeralda - Sardinia, and sometimes in France.
Today I think there are more opportunities in Portugal than in France.
 
I also have no idea why the Aga Khan family is betting so much on Portugal.
The Aga Khan Foundation also has its headquarters in Portugal.
In fact, the Portuguese government in 2019 attributed the Portuguese nationality to Prince Aga Khan.
