Great to see them all at a night out, thanks for posting, Paty :flowers:

Here are two more pics, they were taken on August 21 and
Shakespeare's 'The Winters Tale' was shown:

I love seeing the King and Queen holding hands these days.
Looks like the very good old days of their youth. Beautiful pictures. Thanks

Does this mean that Marie-Chantal saw Shakespeare's play or what else in Greek?
That would be interesting.

Off course not:)...the play was played by british actors, among them was Ethan Hawk. There were supertitles for the Greek audience.

Yes, there were of course subtitles.. Ehtan was so nice..!
A really talented person.. his acting was wonderful!
And the royal family seemed excited with Shakespeare's Tale!

Wonderful pictures of the GRF. It´s nice to see them together and enjoying themselves. And the king looks well after his operation.

Pictures of Alexia as a child

Can someone help me finding pictures of Alexia when she was a child and a teenager :flowers: ? I can't find any! Thank you ...

:previous: I love these photos of the young family with their new baby! The last photo, of Pavlos kissing his baby brother, is very sweet.

What wonderful photos...!!! Thank you very much for sharing them with us!!!!

AM looked extremely beautiful in her youth. I especially like this photo

Her hair looks quite longer than the previous years. And the colours matched her face and expression exquisitely...

I agree with you, he was a handsome children...i like the picture

I think Q Ann Marie is the most beautiful of all her sisters. She is really a pretty woman, and is aging so gracefully- class act!

It was january of 1963 in Athens.I think that the three sisters were pretty, they had a great style...but Queen Anne Marie had the face most beautiful

So right at the time when the engagement was announced - that would make sense for them all to have been together for that.

Reviewing these pictures, what a great pleasure to see this lovely family through several stages of their lives. What a good looking bunch they are!

Bautiful also to see the godmother, princess Olga!

I would dissent here.
Anne-Marie was and is a real natrural beauty.
Benedikte had an indifferent appearance but looks very elegant and utterly chic now, in her maturity.
Queen Margrethe is a tall, imposing, respectable lady but by any counts she was never considered a beauty or attractive. This explains, in fact, a lot of the ironical comments made by the Press, in the 1960s, for prince Henrik (then Comte Henri de Monpezat), a handsome charmer in his youth, after his decision to marry the then princess Margrethe.

I think Benedikte was quite pretty as a young woman - not as beautiful as Anne-Marie, but very attractive with a distinctive look to her face. However, I agree that Margrethe was not really a beauty, but I don't have any doubt she and Henri de Monpezat were very much in love. Was the press suggesting otherwise when they married?
