General news about King Abdullah, Queen Rania & Family Part 2: February 2012 -

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Thank you!

Apart from the allegedly incorrect sum of the funds in the Credit Suisse accounts (although the court's statement does not say what the true figure is), I cannot see what the statement describes as "inaccuracies" as the statement and the report don't appear to be contradictory. Please point out to me if there is something I have missed.

Long way to go for a "slipped disk". I wonder if this was in part the reason behind his brother renouncing his Princely status - if pressure was applied good to do it before the King leaves the country for a bit.

"Slipped disc" sounds painful. That's a touchy part of the world. May HM get better fast and return home to govern his people.

Statetement By the Palace:

"His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday underwent a successful surgery to treat a thoracic herniated disc. At the professional advice of physicians, the surgery, which took place at a specialised hospital in Frankfurt, will be followed by a period of rest before King Abdullah returns to Jordan.
The Royal Hashemite Court wishes His Majesty continued good health and wellbeing."

Queen Rania shared a new photo of herself and King Abdullah that seems to have been taken at hospital:

„Grateful for the successful surgery of His Majesty, the dearest person to my heart. Many thanks to all Jordanians who sent their warm wishes for His Majesty's swift recovery and return“

** instagram post **

And the Palace announced that King Abdullah is back in Jordan

"His Majesty King Abdullah II, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, returns to #Jordan after undergoing successful surgery"

I saw a clip of this on social media and have been trying to find out what the event was as it really is eerily similar to his father the late king Hussein's return from treatment before his death. Now in the wake of all that's happened with hamzah it is looking like a staged show of support. Glad that he is okay but he's going down those stairs pretty fast for having that kind of surgery...

His movement as he walked to greet the family members seemed slower than usual :ermm:

It is obvious that the royal family has become more present in public events alongside the king, especially after the issue of Prince Hamzah.

And her future children-in-law are standing next to her, so lovely!

She will be wonderful mother-in-law!

How wonderful to include her future son- and daughter-in-law in this birthday picture; and indeed: standing next to her. It seems like a really warm family.

Queen Rania wish to her daughters for their birthdays!

"Our friendship gets stronger as you both get older… Couldn’t have asked for better besties. Happy birthday Iman and Salma"

Queen Rania has posted a relaxed photo of herself wishing "Happy Friday! Hope everyone’s having a great morning":

It would have been even more fun if it had been a friendly match between Jordan and Sweden - so the royal families could have watched it together after all the official activities of the state visit were over.

Queen Rania wish King Abdullah for his birthday today:

"There is no greater blessing than walking through life by your side. Grateful for you every day "

and for her son Prince Hashem who also celebrates his birthday today:

"Happy birthday! May God bless you with a lifetime of the same joy that you bring me and everyone around you"
