Lovely cover of Kungliga magasinet! Victoria looks adorable and I also enjoy that it is not so overly photoshopped as most magazine covers are nowadays-you can still see her real face,a few wrinkles around her eyes because she is smiling and it is looking natural & glamourous at the same time.
Don´t like the cover of "Das Neue" very much, they usually take less flattering pictures.
"Adel heute" had a very beautiful special edition for Estelle´s christening,I loved the picture on top and inside that magazine a lot!
When I see a reference to German gossip magazine, I get anxious, wondering what hell they have invented.... These two are more or less ok, except that they are champions in photoshoping situations as usual.
Aren't they contributing to creating negative opinions about royal families ?
Well, these are magazins produced for elderly ladies with too much free time
They always invent something and every second edition is announcing a royal pregnancy,it is so predictable and funny!
They use photoshop a lot and the ladies turn into artificial beauties with little resemblance to their real image.
One issue Queen Elizabeth II is afraid and paralysed cause she´s afraid of the ghosts in her castle, the other issue she is jumping around with joy for the expected baby (Catherine would have had a doucen kids if all her pregnancy announcements were true) and next issue she is deeply worried about her husbands health.Next month Q EII is angry with Beatrice, the other issue she has problems with insomnia,in another paper she will fret about Williams helicopter flights and than she is overjoyed because Prince Philipp bought her a pretty brooch.
You can exchange Elizabeth with Silvia,Catherine with Victoria & Beatrice with Madeleine and you know everything that is going on in the Bernadotte family-everything!
I am afraid that nowadays ALL magazins-no matter if the are about fashion, psychology, royals or men´s p. magazines are retouched to death and contribute to the highly unnatural image of women in the media!
Nice photo! Even though it clearly is photoshopped (Estelles christmas hat).
Does anyone need a translation? The text says "Estelles first christmas!
Her eyes are shining bright ++ She'll get a doll ++ Grandpa will come as Santa Clause" I'm not sure if the grammar is right but I think the general meaning is understandable, right?
That´s right, the translations are correct but the highlighted text would be literally translated as "the little mouse´s eyes are shining bright"
(mouse in this case is used as a nice word like darling,we use animal names for things that we find cute and lovely-many men use "mouse" or also "Mausi"/"Mausilein" to call their girlfriends....it can be also used in reverse:dog and pig are usually not well-meant and donkey or cow is used on ppl who are not very intelligent!)
