That is not actually accurate. In the initial privy consent it was the same language. You are referring to the more elaborate consent that was later placed on the official site. I assume the same will be done for Meghan.

I'll wait until the second for H&M is issued. I am sure the langue will again be similar.

Now you're right ! i stand corrected thank you !
This lack of adjective was far too strange ....
Thanks for Fact Checking. As a rule The Daily Mail is highly untrustworthy. Always double check them.
Sorry if this was already discussed, but is Meghan to be called Rachel upon marriage or she'll continue to be called her second name Meghan? Catherine was known as Kate her whole life but she choose to use her real name Catherine upon marriage, I know if Meghan will do a similar thing...
On a side note the Queen used the adjectives "trusty and well-beloved " for Kate back in 2011 ... but nothing for Meghan today.

A mere oversight i presume, and Kate was already "part of the family" so to speak.
Still in this age where every details counts (and the BRF is well aware of that), i presume it will be picked up by the press ...
Strange to say the least.
Thanks for the interesting info, Nico.
I don't think the Queen is directly involved in drafting documents like that, but it is indeed intriguing that different wordings were used for Kate and Meghan.

Be careful !
As pointed out these are two different documents :
Sorry, I hadn't seen the follow-up reply by ACO before I replied to your original post.
Rudolph-I don't believe that we'll see the wording "trusty and well-beloved" until the Instrument of Consent charter is presented after the couple's wedding. I would imagine that this type of document with the elaborate calligraphy, the Queen's seal and decorations take time to craft.

Does anyone have the full document for William and Catherine’s privy council consent?
In the full document for Harry and Meghan she’s still not “trusty and well beloved”.

BTW the 'trusty and well-beloved' sounds very antique. Is that a convention from Medieval times? Anyone know? Did Diana and Sarah have that? For that matter, have all other brides, like Sophie and Autumn? Will Eugenie have that?

Again, folks keep referring to the charter which is a different document. That was released a few days before the wedding. I assume the same will happen with Harry and Meghan.

Eugenie is far enough down the succession not to need permission. I imagine Diana and Sarah have it.
It’s used in official documents when the Queen refers to peers of the realm.
The Duke of Marlborough is HM’s “trusty and well beloved cousin” even though they’re not cousins.
