Victoria hasn't been wearing her engagement and wedding rings for many months, according to the swedish press she has a very severe skin allergy. The last time I have seen her wearing her rings was at the end of October.

She can be allergic to only one metal, gold. People normally keep their rings the whole day and even at nights, while other jewellery is not worn so long times. And rings are tighter than other jewellery. Victoria had bad red mark at her finger in November and dermatologist Shahla Passian from Akademikliniken said to Svensk Damtidning that the first symptoms of a contact allergic eczema are red marks of the skin and swelling. Many are familiar with nickel allergy, but you can also respond to precious metals like gold and platinum. Passian said you can develop an allergy to all metals and gold is no exception. If you have signs and symptoms, it is better to avoid contact with the substance. That there are those who say that they have previously been very allergic to, for example, nickel, and that after some time have been able to wear nickel again. It can happen but it's nothing what one can expect to happen just by avoiding the metal.

My mother had the same allergy. My father solved the problem by having all her jewels reset in platinum which she was not allergic too. Both my mother and the jeweller were very happy with the solution.

You must not fly very often. The Crown Princess looks quietly elegant and very dignified indeed; I have yet to see an air hostess that looks like the Crown Princess Victoria.

Well,maybe in the 1950ies the air hostesses looked similiar in style-back than they were the epitome of elegance and glamour!The job of an air hostess was just as attractive for girls like today every girl wants to become a famous actress,model or singer
So it is not a disrespective comment,only that nowadays most stewardesses prefer more practical clothes and put less effort into their appearance and rather think about the service they do for the passengers!

The suit is very pretty and elegant, but the tights are horrible. I know she is in mourning, but I still think nude tights would not be a bad idea. Or maybe different shade of grey? Those are just awful.

I have to go along with the general opinion - nice suit but the hosiery is too dark. A shade or two lighter would have much improved the look. I love those dangling black pearl earrings, too.

Victoria on Thursday at the Sweden-America Foundation's annual meeting and jubilee event today. Victoria is the Honorary Chairman of the Foundation, and the king is the Patron.

I like the short jacket but I donot like the blouse underneath may be okay as stand alone piece but looks bulky. The 3/4 length coat is gorgeous love it.
