This is the way the King leads the "hurrah" from the publicrchainho said:Happy Birthday Victoria! Why the king raises his hand and does the movement to the left and right sides like show the 2nd pic? The queen margrethe does the same in the national day.

Hurrah in Swedish, but the Danish hurrah sounds quite similiar, just a little different pronounciation.rchainho said:Hurray in swedish no? So the queen of denmark do the same hurray but in danish?

Victoria looks absolutely fantastic! I love the way she wore her hair today. Even if it is a ponytail, it does not look like one. In my eyes it is great!Lady Jennifer said:She looks like she had a good day!

She usually gets a flower garland to wear in her hair (not sure if it usually also comes from the audience). This year she got this "flower crown" from someone in the audience.Lady Jennifer said:Question-
It might sound stupid but I'll ask anyway.
The "Crown/tiara" w/ flowers on it....is that a tradition or did someone make it for her (from the crowd)? Does she get one of those every year on her birthday? Just wondering....its kinda neat.
Its people from the audience who gives its to her. Its nothing "official" at all, and its a new tradition. I think the first time she got one was in 2003?GrandDuchess said:She usually gets a flower garland to wear in her hair (not sure if it usually also comes from the audience).
