Crown Princess Mette-Marit's Daytime Fashion Part 3: November 2009 - August 2010

Mette Marit looks really lovely in this winter white outfit and hat. I love this color on her. She really shines!
 
I love the green/blue dress she wore some days ago. :flowers:
It is always nice to see her in colors. She should take a look to Belgium, to CP Mathilde. She is very fair too, even though her hair appear a lot darker now than before. She use colors a lot, and with big success.

I'm not too fond of the black suit CP Mette-Marit recently wore. As some of you already pointed out, it is ill fitted. Too tight over her chest and too tight over her arms. It looks like one size too small. CP Mette-Marit goes a bit up and down in weight, not much, but enough to make clothes fit very well one month and not the next. I've seen that when she recycle her clothes.

The white ensemble she wear at the Nobel Peace Price award (NPPA) December 10th, is beautiful on her. :flowers:
She look wonderful, and she is in the opposite of the color scale than her normal black or dark outfits.

It was nice to see her when greeting The President and his wife at the Royal Castle prior to the NPPA. She looked wonderful, and of course in the same white outfit.

Love the creamish jacket and hair accessory. Yes I agree very Jackie O. I'm not sure about the dark hose and shoes though. I'll also say that her hair and makeup and wonderful also.

The coat is by Valentino.

Lovely look, white is one of her better color, I like the length of it and the detailing of the bows on the wrists.
Overall was a 10/10 on the look.
 
The winter white valentino coat is stunning on CPrincess Mette-Marit. It fits perfectly, and I love the pill box hat with side swept hair. The collar is perfect for her. IMO, this is a fahion "home run" for CPrincess M-M.
 
How elegant and lovely! The pillbox hat is nice and the pearl earrings indeed are perfectly matching, the clutch as well.
But to me the black stockings are disturbing the outfit a bit and I would prefer white shoes, black is too heavy here, JMO of course. :flowers: Overall a classy appearance, though!

I could not agree more. Crown Princess Mette-Marit looked flawless: clean fluid lines and perfect tailoring. A pill box hat nicely completed the look.
 
Great, absolutely great, very chic. the coat suits CP fantastic. I like the hat too. Of course there are a black stockings but with this outfit the are going very well.
 
She looks so lovely in white! I love the coat and the hat, her hair looks very beautiful and the clutch and pearl earrings are stunning. Though I wish she wore skin colour tights and different shoes, maybe in the same colour as the clutch.

To be honest when I first saw the outfit I thought "nurse" :lol:, but after really looking at it it's a beautiful coat (I love the collar) and I don't even mind the the dark stockings. They contrast nicely with all of the white.
 
What a pitty MM ruins every outfit with that ugly black stockings.

I would agree with you if this was a black coat. Since it was a white coat the black stockings looks really nice and works with the look. If she had worn nude stocking, the look wouldve all gone wrong ;)
 
I am not normally a fan of the black stockings but with this white coat they work really well. MM looks really lovely in this outfit - it is very elegant.
 
MM looked just impecable during the nobel prizes. her white outfit was the epitome of elegance (appart from the stockings!) and the concert ouftit was just gorgeous - so feminine, i loved the embroidery, the colour and those gorgeous shoes!
 
Mette-Marit was in absolutely top form at the Nobel ceremony, so elegant and very classic. Her make-up and hair were flawless.:flowers:
 
A very pretty coat on Mette-Marit and cute pillbox hat. I agree the black stockings were a good choice this time.
 
MM looks beautiful. Very elegant, neat style, a bit like Jackie O. The style suits her figure very well. And how romantic, holding hands at the ceremony! Very sweet.
 
It's a pretty coat but I don't like the skinny black belt. It's too small it looks like a rope tied around her waist.
