I think it's the same jacket... but it looks much better with pants!

Indeed it looks better with pants. Maybe if she tied a scarf around her neck and left a button open on the jacket it might have looked nicer. At least the scarf would add color to the outfit.

MM's outfit colors have been all the same on this trip except for the red.

A scarf would be nice... but somehow it would look out of place in warm (very warm) Mexico. ;)

MM's visit to the Culture Institute of Veracruz ... another cream/white dress....

The dress is recycled. She first wore it during the State Visit from Vietnam.

i thought the two mexico dresses were perfect for MM. shoes were also amazing.

I don't always like to comment about Princesses clothing but sometimes Mette-Marit confounds me with her clothing choices. It is just as well that everyone sees something different and has different tastes because I found the only redeeming quality of Mette-Marit's wardrobe choices on this visit is that there was no black.

My favourite outfit was the red one as I found the rest to be ill-fitted and rather frumpy for a young crown princess. I certainly do not advocate that they dress in the latest haute couture clothing but Mette-Marit seems IMO to have seriously lost the plot with her wardrobe.

Mette-Marit's earlier clothing choices were IMO so much better. Looking back at older photos she has some really lovely outfits that haven't been recycled in a while. I do understand that body shape changes after children but as a princess (even one for whom fashion isn't important) she must surely have resources at her disposal that could help make choices to suit her body shape now.

This is obviously no reflection on Mette-Marit's character or warmth as a person, which is obvious from her interaction with the people she meets. (After all this is the fashion thread):)

I do not want to dispute.... but I would like to say, that all outfits of CP Mette-Marit, really all, are liked and admired by me. They please me all. I find all her outfits of a very personal elegant taste. Kind regards.

:ermm::ermm: looking at MM's latest outfits, is she expecting again? The white jacket with pink skirt ensemble looked positively like maternity wear to me.

is she expecting again?
No, she's not.

And I somehow don't get why everyone thinks she gained weight lately. MM has looked that "chubby" since quite a while now (since Magnus was born, actually ;)).
well, i agree that she often doesn't dress very flattering. Some of her outfits are quite boxy and make her look quite big.

Her outfits are not flattering and seem to be not suitable for her body shape. I dont think she has gained but the outfit choices are not right. Her posture also doesnt help. If she just stands straight, her stomach wont look like she is expecting.

Some pieces of her outfits look wonderful but maybe not go great with what she has matched it with. It looks like she needs help from a
specialist in putting clothes together.

I know many would not agree, but I do not think sexy sandals and painted toes is appropriate for her official duties.

The first lady seems to wear hose and regular shoes, much more appropriate.

I think CP Mete-Marit look ok. Could be better, but it is ok.

On the weight issue, which seem to bother quite a few:
Remember that a photo is adding weight to any person.
Also remember that CP Mette-Marit has worn quite a few light olors in Mexico, and those two combined doesn't make her neither anyone else look slim.

I see CP Mette-Marit in the white dress she wore on the Peace Prize Concert in December 2008. Whn I saw her on TV in that dress, she did not look like she gained weight. (Even though tv pictures also might add weight to a person.) The same white dress she has now worn in Mexico, and the dress doesn't seem to have gotten tighter since December -08.

So when speculation abpout weight gain for different reasons when you see pictures, look at the picture and try to see if there migt be any factors that might add weight to just any person if he/she was taken pic of at the exact same place in exact same clothes.

Please wait for an official announcement from the Royal Castle if the couple have more littel ones, and stop speculating.
