This is not a wedding outfit IMO. It looks a little 'picnic' in the afternoon to me. Too casual for a Crown Princess attending a wedding.

Sorry, if I have to bring it to a picnic, it wouldn't be on me but underneath me.

I think it's much too classy for a picnic.
I'm sure the price tag doesn't suit a picnic

This outfit looks perfect on Mathilde for a spring/summer weddding.

In my opinion, Mathilde's coat is perfect and classical. She looks stunning!:flowers:

I know, I'm monotonous, but...if Mathilde's style and good taste in choosing her clothing are ecxellent in my opinion, I can't do other then appreciate them...Another dress I really like, and that looks very well on her...also this morning we have had a stunning Mathilde!

I like the graphic design on this coat. Black and white combos work really well on Mathilde. Her hair and skin really look lovely against these colors. I think that she has worn this coat before, but I can't remember where.

Joining the rest, I have to say that Crown Princess Mathilde looked impeccable in a black-and-white coat with an abstract pattern.

Very crisp colours for Princess Mathilde! :flowers:
The coat and its pattern remind me of the Finnish fashion label 'Marimekko'.

A very basic look. I like the white top and earrings. I'm not wild about the khaki pants, but then again, I don't like khaki pants for women. I think that the top would have looked nicer with black pants.

I agree: beautiful top, ugly pants.

Great look, simple and unfussy. It's probably the fashion now with short jackets, however, I do think ladies need to be aware of their own bodies and choose the appropriate length that flatters them the most.
Your observations are quite apt. I think that Crown Princess Mathilde is fond of short jackets and it has little or nothing to do with current fashion trends. Indeed, these jackets do not always flatter her. When paired with A-line skirts, short jackets tend to produce a more flattering look. When paired with trousers, ensembles may come out looking awkward, I dare to say.
The whole look is simple. However, I am not sure about trousers because the latter appears poorly tailored ... or perhaps it is a case of bad photography.

She's clearly on a black and white kick. At first I didn't care for these trousers, but the more that I see them, the more I like them. They have a nice flowy look to them, and it seems to work on her figure. If they had been more structured or form-fitting, they would have looked strange.

I don´t like her outfit today, sorry :nonono:
The shoes and hairdo are beautiful, though.

Oh My God ...:ohmy::ohmy: What an odd pair of trousers ... I thought this kind of trousers were popular in the beginning of 1990s and are not in fashion nowadays. It appears I have been mistaken. The black wrap top is fine as well as hairstyle and makeup. However, the flowery trousers ruined the look for me.

I like this outfit very much. She is so original and elegant:flowers:

Well I like the hair and earrings, but I haven't been able to some around to the pants yet.
The top is fine, as are the shoes.

Loved the top but didn't think the pants looked very flattering on her.
