Plenty of Mary stuff in BB this week.
This is the first of three articles to be posted here. I will add the two others to this post later.

Laura og Anders hjalp Mary - Laura and Anders helped Mary.
Written by our Jutland correspondent Ken Richter.
Mary went to Kolding in Jutland to inaugurate a ward for children at Kolding Sygehus = hospital (*) called Mother and Child Centre.
And the patients were out in force to meet Mary.
That included eight year old Laura and end ten year old Anders, both dressed in their finest Sunday dress. The children had been recruited to help Mary with the inauguration.
Mary said: "I think the children should be allowed to help me". And then all three of them held the golden scissors and cut the ribbon together.
Mary also gave a speech where she said: "Every day is a new beginning, when a child is born and at the same time as a new love arise, a new vulnerabillity arise too. To parents the greatest fear is that anything should happen to your child. It can become ill or get hurt, but fortunately most children rocover".
On average ten children are born every day on the maternity ward. The new centre can also treat children with various special deseases. The ward has been designed in co-operation with children, parents, staff, anthropologists, designers and craftsmen.
Mary said: "It's something new and unique that children and parents have been asked in order to create a safe framework in this nice looking ward. It can probably make the children forget for a moment that they are on a hospital".
The decorations on the walls have been inspired by the woods and the animals living there.
After the inaguration, speeches and touring of the centre it was time for a reception. And for that purpose a layer-cake had been made. Mary cut the cake and handed the first piece to her little helper Laura, who had looked forward for weeks to meet Mary. Alas, Laura who is semi-paralyzed in her right side is also allergic to flour, so she passed on her cake to another child. Instead she munched down a slice of ryebread her mother had baked.
The other little assistant, Anders, suffers from an enzyme defect. So every week he has to the hospital to get the lacking enzymes via intraveneous drop.
Mary also met and posed with two very delighted patients from the children's psyciatric ward, Joy Jaqueline and Sofie.
Mary's dress was from Hennes & Mauritz at the very affordable price of 350 DKK. (Around 70 $).
(*) Sygehus = house for the ill/sick. The word is more modern than hospital.

Mary festede med Mads - Mary partied with Mads.
Written by our cinematic reporter Ulrik Ulriksen.
If you have seen the pictures posted above you will know that Mary went to the premiere of the movie A Royal Affair, with Mads Mikkelsen in the leading role.
However another leading role is played by Trine Dyrholm, who has been praised by the revievers. (*)
Mary was recieved by the man himself, Mads Mikkelsen, when she arrived at the movie theatre.
When the movie ended, she and the rest of the audience appluaded enthusiastically and Mads Mikkelsen went on stage. Then it was time for an afterparty back stage.
Mary had said beforehand: "I look forward to seeing the movie and to see Mads Mikkelsen" (**)
After having enjoyed some good time with the ladies and gentlemen of the moving picture industry it was time for Mary to head home. She told our reporter: "I think the movie was a great experience. I'm totally crazy about it. It's a fantastic narrative and a very tragic and dramatic part of the Danish history. And as to Mads Mikkelsen, he was really good in this role. But I always think he's good". (***)
To the question as to whether Frederik was at home looking after all the children, Mary just smiled knowingly.
(*) I couldn't recognise her with her clothes on. But dressed or not, she's a very competent actress.
(**) What is it with you women and Mads Mikkelsen? He's a very fine actor, no doubt about that. (Who can forget the scene, where he went shooting cows with Ole Thestrup?) But he's got a deformed face, how can that be attractive?
(***) Mads Mikkelsen's wife and children were there too, so cool it gossip mags.

Mary roste sin søn - Mary praised her son.
Written by the Ulrik Ulriksen.
Mary went to an e-skill conference organised by EU at the Experimentarium. (You know, where Joachim and Felix went surfing the other day).
Mary was to give the opening speech but the microphone failed miserably. What is a crown princess to do in that situation? She just shouted out her speech, loud and clear and our reporter claims that it actually made what she said resonate even better.
On the way out Mary was asked about Christian's IT-skills. She smiled and explained that he is very interested in IT and that he uses computer and digital toys very much: "And he's good at it". (*)
Mary then met a class of teenage school children on the way in. One of the boys noted: "Look... Isn't that Mary"? It was and she was cheered by the teenagers.
(*) Yep, if your can't figure out how to install the channels on TV or your recorder, get a child.
This summary is dedicated to grandchildren everywhere, without whom grandparents worldwide wouldn't be able to watch nearly as much TV, let alone know how to use a mobile.
